Daisy Kelliher has emerged as a dynamic Chief Steward on Below Deck Sailing Yacht, navigating through an arduous fifth season filled with challenges. At 37 years of age and originally from Ireland, Daisy’s journey into yachting began at the tender age of two. By the age of 25, she was actively working on yachts, contributing to her eventual introduction to the Below Deck franchise in its second season. Over the last five years aboard Parsifal III with Captain Glenn Shephard, Daisy has established herself as a key player in the series.
Her presence on the show has been characterized by her quick wit, diligent work ethic, and charismatic personality, making her a favorite among viewers. The show has also featured her dramatic experiences with on-board romances—affectionately termed “boatmances” —and her controversial rapport with First Officer Gary King, who has become infamous for his various escapades since their first collaboration. With season 5 concluded, it’s time to delve into Daisy’s current status and future prospects.
Daisy’s BDSY Season 5 Experience
Turbulent Times Under Pressure

During this intense season of Below Deck Sailing Yacht, Daisy’s leadership was put to the test as she oversaw Stewardesses Danni Warren and Diana Cruz. Their dynamics quickly soured as both challenged Daisy’s authority, feeling unfairly treated and accusing her of lackluster effort. This led to several confrontations where Daisy had to assert her position and restore her credibility, saying that her experience with Danni and Diana was the most difficult she had faced to date.
Apart from her internal challenges, Daisy found herself in hot water after a misstep involving Captain Glenn. She, along with Gary and Deckhands Keith Allen and Chase Lemacks, enjoyed drinks with charter guests, breaching the captain’s two-drink rule. As a result, their tip was reduced, leaving Daisy embarrassed and disrupting her performance throughout the season. Despite ongoing tensions with Gary as fellow department heads, they ultimately grew closer as roommates, solidifying their bond.
Is Daisy Still in a Relationship with Keith?
A Year-Long Connection
Below Deck star Daisy experienced a romantic highlight in season 5, forming a connection with Keith. Although Gary has made repeated attempts to keep a romantic spark alive with Daisy, she successfully distanced herself from his advances this season. Instead, she found a genuine bond with Keith, even though Chef Cloye Martin expressed interest as well. Ultimately, Daisy and Keith’s relationship felt more substantial and promising.
While their romance was characterized by a single kiss on board Parsifal III, they decided to explore their relationship post-show. Daisy, who is based in London, enjoyed a visit from Keith after the season, leading to a long-distance “situationship”that lasted about a year. However, despite the affection they shared, the challenges of distance ultimately led to their split. Still, Daisy believes her time with Keith was meaningful.
“We dated for a year, but it was long distance. It was long distance and it wasn’t, like, ever very serious. But, we were in each other’s lives for a year and, unfortunately, it ended because of distance.”
Currently, Daisy appears to be single. She enjoys life as a cat mom, maintaining her base in England while remaining active in the yachting world. Her travel schedule is busy, making it complicated to seek a new relationship at this time.
The Future: Daisy’s Role in Below Deck
A Move to Below Deck Down Under
Having faced a demanding charter season, the prospect of Daisy continuing with the Below Deck franchise was uncertain—especially given the public scrutiny surrounding Gary, which stemmed from a sexual misconduct lawsuit. However, Daisy has decided to move on from Below Deck Sailing Yacht, but she remains connected to the franchise.
On April 12, 2025, it was announced that Daisy will join Captain Jason Chambers as Chief Stew in the upcoming season of Below Deck Down Under. An Instagram post featuring Daisy alongside Captain Jason and former franchise alum Chef Ben Robinson highlighted her new adventure. This opportunity means Daisy remains an integral part of the Below Deck universe. With a fresh start in a different location and a new team, Daisy is poised to return with renewed energy and confidence.
