The Berserk crossover announcement introduced enticing elements for avid players. The gameplay dynamic involves the introduction of “ovoid creatures”known as Behelits, which can be obtained after defeating elite enemies. These magical items can be exchanged at a designated Berserk Reliquary for an array of unique items, including the Hawks Destiny Back Trophy, Skull Knight’s Heraldry Mount Armor, Brand of Sacrifice Marking, and other themed gear. Players should strive to collect all items to unlock the coveted Od of the Berserker Emblem.

For players seeking an enriched experience, Blizzard will also feature exclusive armor sets in the in-game shop, showcasing iconic characters from the Berserk universe. Starting May 6 and continuing through Season 8: Belial’s Return, players can purchase themed armor sets, including the Barbarian’s Berserker Armor, the Hawk of Light and Struggler armor sets tailored for Rogues, and the Skull Knight set for Necromancers. Additionally, a pet bundle featuring The Schnoz and the Warhorse of the Hawk mount armor will be made available, although pricing details remain undisclosed.

Beyond the Berserk crossover, Season 8 introduces significant modifications to the core gameplay experience. Blizzard plans to balance the game by adjusting overpowered builds and revamping the battle pass system. Players will now have the flexibility to claim rewards in any sequence they choose, utilizing Favor Tokens or Platinum to unlock various bundles or additional Reliquaries after completing the free options. This shift reflects Blizzard’s intention to focus on enduring improvements for Diablo 4 rather than temporary seasonal effects that may vanish with time.
