On April 21, 2025, BIGHIT MUSIC unveiled BTS member Jin’s Echo concept photo along with a lyrical preview, providing a glimpse into his upcoming album set to release on May 16, 2025. This second solo project follows his successful debut with the 2024 album Happy, positioning Jin as a significant solo artist within the K-pop landscape.
Echo is expected to explore a variety of universal life experiences and emotions, all through the distinctive lens of the Grammy-nominated artist. The album will feature seven tracks and is rumored to introduce listeners to new musical genres, hinted at in a teaser clip released alongside the concept photo.
The teaser showcased a montage of vibrant photos themed around rock music, complete with electric guitars, retro stereo systems, and 1970s-inspired fashion elements reminiscent of Elvis Presley. Keen-eyed fans quickly observed that the montage contained snippets from the lyrics of one of the tracks, captured on a poster in the background. The excerpt read:

BTS’ Jin Announces His First Solo World Tour: RUNSEOKJIN_EP.TOUR
Excitingly, Jin is gearing up for his inaugural solo world tour, named RUNSEOKJIN_EP.TOUR, commencing in June 2025. This tour will coincide with the promotion of Echo, further solidifying Jin’s place as a prominent solo artist following his album release on May 16, 2025.
The tour will feature 18 performances across nine cities in Asia, North America, and Europe, giving fans around the globe the opportunity to experience Jin’s musical flair live.
This world tour pays homage to Jin’s widely popular YouTube variety series, Run Jin, and symbolizes his dedication to connecting with his fanbase on a global scale. Fans can anticipate performances from both his debut album, Happy, and the eagerly awaited Echo.
The tour will kick off with a two-night event at the Goyang Auxiliary Stadium in South Korea on June 28 and 29, with livestreaming available on Weverse, enabling fans worldwide to join the experience.
Following the South Korean launch, the tour will head to Japan, with performances slated at the Makuhari Messe International Exhibition Hall in Chiba on July 5 and 6, and the Kyocera Dome in Osaka on July 12 and 13.
The North American leg will begin in Anaheim, California, at the Honda Center on July 17 and 18. Subsequent shows include stops in Dallas, Texas, at the American Airlines Center on July 22 and 23, and the Amalie Arena in Tampa, Florida, on July 26 and 27. Jin will then perform at the Prudential Center on July 30 and 31.
The tour will wrap up in Europe, featuring shows at The O2 Arena in London on August 5 and 6, followed by performances at the Ziggo Dome in Amsterdam on August 9 and 10.
Ticketing for the Goyang concerts will be exclusively managed through Interpark, with presales for BTS’ global fan club members starting on April 28, and general ticket sales launching on April 29.
