Maximum Level Cap in RuneScape Dragonwilds: What You Need to Know

RuneScape Dragonwilds presents players with a familiar leveling experience but within a unique survival framework. As the game approaches its official launch, questions arise regarding the maximum Skill level attainable. Insights shared by Jagex’s Community Manager indicate that while the current Skill cap is set, realizations might change post-launch. In the expansive universe of RuneScape, each element is associated with a skill level, allowing players to gradually enhance their abilities through usage.

The anticipated maximum Skill level has not yet been established definitively until the official release of the game. However, the current Skill level ceiling stands at 50. This cap could be reevaluated in future updates, depending on the title’s performance and the developers’ choices. For now, all players of RuneScape Dragonwilds will work within this limit.

The Current Maximum Skill Level in RuneScape Dragonwilds

The objective for the game aims for a peak Skill level of 99, aligning with the traditional RuneScape experience, where most skills culminate at level 99, with a few exceptional skills reaching level 120. However, it’s unclear whether this structure will also transition into RuneScape Dragonwilds.

Importantly, players will have access to a comprehensive range of skills available in the game. Given the wilderness setting, traditional city-based skill acquisition, such as learning Attack, is not an option. As with previous RuneScape versions, only skill levels exist in this game, devoid of overall player levels. Players can enhance the following skills:

  • Artisan
  • Attack
  • Construction
  • Cooking
  • Mining
  • Magic
  • Ranged
  • Runecrafting
  • Woodcutting

To level up these skills, players must engage actively in their respective activities. Utilizing potions that augment experience points (XP) gains can significantly expedite progress. For instance, to elevate your Cooking skill, create a Brewing Cauldron and whip up various delectable recipes.

It is noteworthy that while skills related to Magic and Ranged have yet to be implemented in the game, players can still wield staves and bows without the corresponding skill lines available. As RuneScape Dragonwilds continues to evolve during Early Access, players should anticipate ongoing changes and additions. The overarching aim, however, remains clear—attaining a level 99 Skill cap.

A future inclusion players can look forward to is the Skill Mastery Capes. For those unfamiliar with the original game, these capes signify achievement in reaching levels of either 99 or 120 in specific skills, complete with unique perks and emotes. While reaching level 50 will require considerable effort, the journey towards 99 promises much greater challenges and rewards, making it all the more worthwhile.
