Episode 13 begins right where episode 12 ended, with Yuke in a meeting with the director of Duna Academy. Despite Yuke’s reservations about his capability to fulfill the responsibilities of a hero as a Pseudo A-rank adventurer, the director stressed the necessity of his engagement in their perilous situation.

The director informed Yuke that should he decline this role, another Clover Party member would be promoted to rank A to assume the responsibilities of the hero. Ultimately, Yuke accepted this daunting task.

In a collaborative effort, the Duna Academy, royal family, and Adventurers Guild assembled a joint operation, enlisting the expertise of Scordia, Fullbound, Carmine, and the Clover Party. The primary goal of this endeavor is to uncover the secrets surrounding Glad Shi-im, a dungeon town. Ideally, this mission will lead to the resealing of the town and an end to the culling incident.

Although Fullbound expressed skepticism regarding Clover’s participation, given their C-rank status, the officials defended their capabilities while keeping Yuke’s identity as the hero confidential. Subsequently, the Clover Party decided to recruit Rune, the enigmatic girl from the dungeon, asserting that her connection to Glad Shi-im would be invaluable. Yuke welcomed this proposal and spearheaded the expedition with the other parties.

As the episode progressed, Yuke and the Clover Party encountered Loge once more. Surprisingly, Loge agreed to guide them on their quest due to his respect for Niberune and acknowledgment of Yuke’s hero status. However, they soon discovered that Loge was under a curse that restricted his ability to communicate freely. This turned their search into a quest for crucial information hidden within Loge’s library, revealing that Glad Shi-im was once the capital of a realm where deities and humans thrived together.

This prosperous world endured what is referred to as the “Sunset,”synonymous with the ‘culling’ phenomenon in Yuke’s world. King Vordan, the ruler of Glad Shi-im, along with several adept mages, invoked a spell granting wishes in a desperate measure to protect the capital and its populace. However, this act came with unforeseen consequences.

The episode concluded with Yuke, Niberune, and their allies departing the dungeon town, leaving Yuke to reflect on the implications of King Vordan’s spell and the true nature of its ramifications.

Concluding Reflections

Episode 13 of I Left My A-Rank Party effectively deepened the intrigue surrounding Glad Shi-im while simultaneously hinting at the troubling effects that King Vordan’s spell may have wrought. While Yuke’s identity as the hero seemed trivial at first glance, upcoming episodes are poised to unravel its true significance in the face of unfolding events.
