The court is reviewing the arrest warrant for the doctor who is suspected of providing drugs to actor Lee Sun-kyun
According to the Incheon Police Agency’s Drug Crime Investigation Division, the Incheon District Court will hold a suspect interrogation for an arrest warrant for Doctor A on charges of violating the Narcotics Control Act at 2:30 p.m. on November 27th.
A is known to have appeared on TV health programs in the past. A is suspected of supplying drugs to B, the female director of the entertainment establishment related to Lee Sun-kyun’s drug case.
Earlier on the 26th, KBS 1TV’s “News 9” reported, “It has been confirmed that B told the police that she took drugs at the recommendation of A in the first place” .
According to the report, A gave B a birthday present and it turned out that the birthday gift was 7g of methamphetamine, 4g of cannabis, and 4g of ketamine.
B claimed that she received drugs from A three times. The police paid attention to the drug transaction on January 12th this year and checked Lee Sun-kyun’s movements that day.
In addition, the police also confirmed that B visited A’s house on January 12th and returned to her house after receiving cannabis and ketamine. Lee Sun-kyun reportedly visited A’s house on the same day.
Meanwhile, the decision on arresting A or not will be announced later on the 27th.
