Vampire Survivors is set to expand its universe further with the introduction of The Coop, a complimentary update that coincides with the free Emerald Diorama crossover expansion. While the collaboration with SaGa featured in the Emerald Diorama DLC stands out as a significant highlight of this update, The Coop presents players with numerous surprises and new items to explore. Among these additions are formidable weapons like the Gaze of Gaea and a brand-new character known as Gazebo.
The Coop, as its name suggests, centers around a chicken theme, enriching the game with a fresh map, a new relic that modifies gameplay speed, and a host of surprises. Gazebo, the latest character introduced in this update, can be unlocked relatively easily, provided players know the correct approach.
Unlocking The Coop in Vampire Survivors

To gain access to Gazebo in Vampire Survivors, players first need to evolve the new Gaze of Gaea weapon into its advanced form, Embrace of Gaea. However, before this can be accomplished, players must unlock the Coop stage by collecting a total of 500 Floor Chickens across their gameplay. These Floor Chickens act as health pickups that spawn intermittently throughout the game.
There’s no specific strategy for gathering these Floor Chickens, and those without a pre-existing save file may need to dedicate several hours to this task. One effective approach for newcomers is to grind for gold, as this will yield several Floor Chickens during each round, making it an excellent starting point.
Evolving the Gaze of Gaea in Vampire Survivors

Once players have unlocked The Coop, they can access the Gaze of Gaea weapon by avoiding enemy encounters for a solid minute at the onset of a round. It’s essential to refrain from defeating any foes during this brief period, as doing so will successfully unlock the Gaze of Gaea weapon.
Players should then head towards the right side of The Coop stage to locate a Parm Aegis and the new relic, Roast Chicken With a Clock in the Middle. This relic provides a significant gameplay enhancement by doubling the game speed, which can be beneficial, though only the Parm Aegis is necessary for weapon evolution. Notably, Parm Aegis was previously introduced in the Ode to Castlevania DLC, but players do not need that expansion to collect this item on The Coop stage. Once players have both the Gaze of Gaea and Parm Aegis, they can proceed to evolve Gaze of Gaea into Embrace of Gaia.
Upon successfully obtaining Embrace of Gaia for the first time, Gazebo the chicken will be permanently integrated into the Vampire Survivors character roster. Gazebo begins with the Gaze of Gaea as its weapon and boasts a passive ability that enhances its movement speed by 50%. Players who unlock Gazebo will find that they have completed the majority of the new content offered in The Coop. This leaves ample time to delve into the exciting offerings of the SaGa Emerald Diorama collaboration DLC.
