The Preliminary stage of the PMGO 2025 concluded on April 11, 2025, marking a significant milestone in the tournament. Sixteen teams clashed across 12 intense matches, ultimately leading to the advancement of the top seven squads into the highly anticipated Main Event. GOAT Quality emerged victorious, finishing atop the standings with an impressive 114 points, bolstered by three Chicken Dinners. Their remarkable consistency and strategic play over the two days ensured they entered the Main Event with momentum.
In stark contrast, UPGRADE had a rough beginning during the Prelims but showcased an extraordinary turnaround, finishing second with 111 points, also securing three Chicken Dinners. Their resilience highlighted the unpredictable nature of competitive gaming.
Advancement to the Main Event
These seven teams will compete alongside nine additional participants at the Main Event scheduled for April 12 and 13, 2025. Unfortunately, the remaining nine teams from the Prelims faced elimination, underscoring the fierce competition present in the PMGO.

The established team R8 Esports claimed the third position with 88 points, along with one Chicken Dinner. Their comeback on the second day ensured their place in the Main Event. Meanwhile, AKE Cyber impressed fans and analysts alike with a performance that brought them to fourth place, amassing 81 points and one Chicken Dinner.
THE721 AGGRESSOR and Black Esports showcased competitive spirits, finishing sixth and seventh with 79 and 76 points, respectively. The Nepali team, NEPX, showed marked improvement to secure their spot in the next round as well.
Fenerbahçe Esports narrowly missed advancing, finishing in eighth place. KZE Underage and Dope Esports followed in ninth and tenth, while the well-known IKURD Esports finished 11th with 55 points. With consistency proving elusive, Trained to Kill could only manage 12th place, also with 55 points.
Below them, Divergent and XOTICS ended in 13th and 14th places with 52 and 46 points, respectively. K21 Esports captured 15th place with 45 points, while Action Esports rounded out the final rankings at the bottom with just 22 points. With these results, the nine teams that did not qualify for the Main Event have been eliminated from the PMGO 2025.
