The much-anticipated Main Event of the PUBG Mobile Global Open (PMGO) 2025 is scheduled for April 12-13, 2025, in Uzbekistan. This prestigious international tournament will feature 16 prominent clubs from across the globe competing for glory. The total prize pool stands at an impressive $500,000, with $409,000 dedicated specifically to the Main Event.

Format and Qualification Criteria

Among the 16 competing teams, eight have received direct invitations due to their exceptional previous performances. The remaining spots were filled by the top seven teams from the Prelims and the highest-performing team from the Uzbekistan Final, showcasing their skills during various qualifying rounds.

Notably, D’Xavier from Vietnam earned their invitation by dominating the PMSL 2025 SEA Spring tournament, demonstrating their ability on a global stage. Meanwhile, LGD Gaming from China secured their position after a stellar performance during the PEL 2025 Spring Regular Season.

Moreover, NS RedForce claimed victory in the Pro Series Korea, solidifying their participation in the Global Open. Reject, last year’s PMGO champion, qualified through their success in the Japan Qualifier.

Additional teams such as 4Merical Vibes, RCB, Nigma Galaxy, and Influence Rage were extended invitations based on their outstanding performances in the PUBG Mobile Global Championship (PMGC) 2024, making them squads to watch during the tournament.

In the Preliminaries, GOAT Quality rose to prominence as top performers, followed closely by UPGRADE, which executed a remarkable comeback with three Chicken Dinners to clinch the second spot. R8 Esports also made their mark by finishing third in the prelims.

Finally, AKE and T721 secured the fourth and fifth places in the Prelims, respectively. Black Esports following closely in sixth place, and NEPX from Nepal secured seventh place to round out the teams advancing to the Main Event.
