Khloé Kardashian’s Reaction to Lamar Odom’s Sex Doll Purchase: Reality Star Calls It ‘Creepy’

Khloé Kardashian Responds to Lamar Odom’s Disturbing Doll Purchase

In a recent episode of the sixth season of The Kardashians on Hulu, Khloé Kardashian spoke candidly about the unsettling purchase made by her ex-husband, Lamar Odom. The reality star expressed her shock and distaste regarding Odom’s decision to acquire a customized blow-up doll resembling her, labeling the act as “creepy”and “weird.”

Initial Reactions from Khloé

Khloé, 40, who was married to Lamar from 2009 until their divorce was finalized in 2016, discovered the existence of the doll through media reports. During a heartfelt conversation with her mother, Kris Jenner, and her longtime friend Malika Haqq, Khloé revealed:

“I found out about Lamar’s blow-up doll I think the same way any of us found out — it was on the internet. Not sure why that’s something we’re publicly talking about.”

Her subsequent reaction was unmistakably frank. In a confessional shared with viewers, Khloé voiced her disbelief:

“I’m supposed to be flattered by this? It’s more — man, this validates just how different we are and how much we’ve grown apart and it’s creepy and it’s weird, but I’m not hurt by it. It’s his journey. It’s just weird and gross.”

Background on Khloé Kardashian and Lamar Odom

The former NBA star, now 45, first brought attention to the doll in a November 2024 episode of the We’re Out Of Time podcast. He suggested that the doll serves as part of his mental health journey, stating:

“When you’re really thinking about it, [it’s] like a doll. But then you think about like, mental health, and how important that is, not just in today’s time, but just from the beginning of time. A s*x doll that looks like your wife is about mental health.”

In November, TMZ captured Odom purchasing the lifelike doll from RealDoll, a prominent sex toy retailer located in Las Vegas. Later, he explained that the doll represents a means of achieving sexual freedom.

The couple’s tumultuous relationship saw them first marrying in 2009. However, Khloé filed for divorce in 2013, largely due to Lamar’s struggles with substance abuse and infidelity. Although she initially put the divorce on hold after he suffered a near-fatal overdose in 2015, the marriage formally ended in 2016, as noted by The Independent.

A Reflective Reunion

Earlier this season, Khloé and Lamar had a poignant reunion at Haqq’s house, marking their first interaction in nearly a decade. Reflecting on their history, she stated:

“Lamar was, and is, definitely someone that I was like, the love of my life. I got married when I was 24, and although him and I got married 30 days to the day after meeting one another, I loved him with all of my heart and soul.”

Despite their complicated past, Khloé noted that she has minimal contact with Lamar now, aside from the occasional direct message.

Moving Forward

In light of the doll’s revelation, Khloé appeared determined to close that chapter of her life. She affirmed:

“I don’t have bad blood. I don’t have any blood. There’s no feelings. I want him to have his stuff … and that’s it. I wish I could just do that and not have a conversation.”

Lamar, in contrast, expressed hope for the possibility of rekindling their friendship, wishing to “get to know her a little bit more.”

Fans can catch the entire sixth season of The Kardashians now streaming on Hulu.
