In Blue Prince, although much of your adventure unfolds within the enigmatic manor, it is highly beneficial to venture outside and discover the treasures around your campsite. One notable location is a fenced-off Apple Orchard, which at first glance may appear simply as decorative scenery. However, accessing the Apple Orchard is a worthwhile endeavor, and to do so, you must decipher the code that unlocks its gate.

Unlocking the Apple Orchard: Finding the Code
To uncover the elusive lock code, you must first locate the Utility Closet, home to the circuit breaker. While there is a puzzle associated with this utility, you can defer solving it temporarily if your priority is reaching the Apple Orchard. Instead, your main task here is to activate the Dark Room switch by setting it to “On”rather than “Off.”
Rewards for Entering the Apple Orchard
Once you have activated the Dark Room, return to the gate and input the code 1128 into the combination lock. This will grant you entry to the Apple Orchard, enabling several valuable upgrades:
- Starting the next day, you will gain an additional 20 steps each day. This boost is permanent, enhancing your exploration capabilities.
Moreover, you’ll gain access to a shed filled with useful notes left by the Groundskeeper of Mount Holly. These notes will inform you of prime locations to harvest Green Rooms and shed light on another intriguing area of the manor, known as the Cloister. This knowledge not only aids in your quest for Room 46 but also equips you with additional energy for your explorations in Blue Prince.
