The Invincible Character I’m Most Eager to See in Season 4 Isn’t a Viltrumite, Atom Eve, or a Demon

Invincible season 3 has left fans eagerly anticipating the next chapter, building intriguing plotlines and welcoming back fan-favorite characters. Each season has progressively enhanced the show’s reputation, and many consider this latest installment one of the series’ most captivating yet. The season finale not only delivered thrilling action and intense conflict but also provided a tantalizing preview of upcoming arcs, spotlighting several familiar characters in a montage that hints at exciting developments ahead.

Wrapping up its compelling narrative, the mid-credits scene of season 3 marked the return of Damien Darkblood, a character last seen in season 1, which promises to lead him into an original storyline not explored in the comics. Additionally, the possible resurrection of Conquest and the introduction of new Viltrumites hint at a robust season 4. The experiences that Mark, Eve, Nolan, and Allen the Alien endured have added depth to their characters, yet the one character that piques my excitement for the upcoming season is a surprise to many.

Amid a roster of compelling characters, my enthusiasm for Battle Beast’s return in season 4 is particularly strong. Making his debut in one of the series’ standout episodes, “That Actually Hurt,”Battle Beast has since vanished from the scene for nearly two seasons. However, his dramatic return in a Viltrumite prison was nothing short of spectacular, as he aided Allen in rescuing Nolan, motivated by the promise of combat against formidable foes. Although the show has kept much of his backstory under wraps, Battle Beast’s insatiable thirst for battle makes him a uniquely fascinating figure within the series.

Displaying extraordinary strength, Battle Beast has proven time and again his ability to confront the Viltrumites and emerge unscathed. His initial confrontation with Mark and the Guardians of the Globe showcased his formidable prowess; he only withdrew when he deemed them unworthy opponents. After shedding his skin in a climactic space battle, he was discovered by the Coalition of Planets, solidifying anticipation for his vibrant involvement in the forthcoming season. Regardless of what lies ahead for Battle Beast, it is almost certain he will once again dominate the spotlight.

Though Battle Beast has had limited appearances in the series so far, each moment has left a significant impact, and it’s evident he has much more to contribute. While avoiding spoilers from the comics, it’s crucial to highlight that Battle Beast emerges as a pivotal figure in the conflict against the Viltrumites. The animated adaptation has showcased his exceptional combat skills, yet it has yet to explore the tragic origins that define his drive for battle and constant quest for powerful opponents.

His compelling nature has sparked interest in a dedicated comic spinoff scheduled for release in May. Should he maintain his status as a fan favorite throughout the series, there’s potential for Prime Video to expand his role and further develop his narrative. Given that he ranks as one of the most dangerous fighters in the series, it’s clear Battle Beast’s earlier appearances are only an initial glimpse into his character. I eagerly await the show’s continuation of his story with increased screen time and development.
