xQc Claims Kai Cenat’s Associate Reggie Engaged in Viewbotting on Twitch

The world of Twitch streaming has recently taken a dramatic turn as girlhefunny1x, popularly known as Reggie or “Lil Rodney Son,”has gained widespread attention after several collaborations with the renowned streamer Kai Cenat. This surge in popularity has not come without controversy, as fellow streamer xQc has accused Reggie of artificially inflating his audience numbers through viewbotting. This allegation surfaced during a lively conversation between xQc and FaZe Clan’s Stable Ronaldo while they played Call of Duty live on an April 9, 2025, Kick stream.

The Drama Unfolds

During his April 9 stream, Felix “xQc”spoke candidly about various controversies within the streaming community. He referenced a post on X that suggested Twitch member Mizkif had engaged in viewbotting himself. Intrigued, xQc checked Mizkif’s statistics on TwitchTracker and determined that they appeared to be within normal limits, raising no alarms. He also analyzed Kai Cenat’s viewership trends, remarking that they seemed convincingly authentic.

However, the narrative shifted when xQc cast a dubious eye on Reggie, labeling him the “GOAT” (Greatest of All Time), primarily due to a remarkable spike in his viewership that coincided with the start of April.

“Some of Kai’s friends though… if I speak… want me to show you something that’s a little bit off the charts?… Yesterday, I didn’t even know about this guy and I think he’s the GOAT… This guy might be the GOAT. He’s just doing it better.”

Notably, xQc highlighted Reggie’s astonishing increase of 52,000 live viewers on April 1, 2025, followed by a series of fluctuating statistics that raised eyebrows:

“1K, next day 800, next day 8K, next day, 60K. That’s the GOAT, I mean, then 20K, 30K, that’s the absolute GOAT of streaming… we’ve been doing it all wrong for a whole decade, we’re f**king stupid.”

xQc’s Accusations and Insights

Reggie’s significant breakthrough occurred during a streaming marathon of Batman: Arkham alongside Cenat in February 2025, at which point he had around 80,000 followers but was struggling to average over 1,000 views per stream.

Later in the April 9 broadcast, as Felix played Call of Duty, Stable Ronaldo inquired about his thoughts on viewbotting, prompting a provocative response from xQc:

“I saw you talking about something (‘Viewbotters?’, asked xQc) Yeah, what’s up with that?”

Felix expressed his indifference towards viewbotters, addressing the phenomenon of streamers achieving sudden success in viewership:

“I don’t give a f**k, they’re all viewbotters, I don’t care to say it. People [go] from like a 1K andy to a 20K andy overnight, like I’ve been here before, I’m not f**king stupid, this shit’s bottled out the wazoo.”

He added that he would be open to discussions if these streamers were linked to agencies that may be orchestrating fake viewership on their behalf:

“I would be open to the conversation if it’s their agency doing it, it’s like these new guys, they come from Hollywood…”

Additional Controversies in the Streaming Community

In related news, Mizkif recently faced criticism from the Japanese streamer Kaho Shibuya for allegedly performing “pull-ups and gymnastic tricks”on cherry blossom trees during his visit to Japan, adding another layer of drama to the ongoing conversation surrounding streamer authenticity.
