Overview of The Finals Patch Notes (Update 6.1.0)

Continuation of the World Tour: Risk & Reward

This week’s update also ushers in the next leg of the World Tour: Risk & Reward. This mode features a unique twist, where the cash payout for eliminations is no longer predetermined; instead, it varies based on the weapon selected. Players can opt for a safe approach with an AKM or M11, earning a modest $200 per elimination, or aim for higher stakes with a Spear or M26, potentially earning up to $1000. This high-risk scenario offers the perfect opportunity to test players’ mettle while re-evaluating strategies with the latest patch changes.

Balance Adjustments

Weapon Changes

One of the notable adjustments is to the ARN-220:

  • Damage has been increased from 15 to 17.

Dev Note: The ARN has not been performing at the level we anticipated since its release, and this change is intended to enhance its effectiveness. While we cannot guarantee this adjustment will fully resolve the issues, it should provide a beneficial boost while we continue analyzing performance data for further enhancements.

Dev Note: We’ve received mixed feedback regarding both the CB-01 and M134 Minigun, with player opinions differing significantly. Current metrics indicate that both weapons are averaging mid-tier performance. Thus, we do not plan to implement immediate changes in this patch; instead, we will allow more time for these weapons to integrate into the meta before reevaluating their status.
