On April 8, R&B artist Jacquees addressed claims made by his fiancée, Deiondra Sanders, concerning their family dynamics and their son, Snow. Deiondra alleged that Jacquees and his family had been avoiding a meeting with Snow due to their disapproval of her.
Deiondra, who is the daughter of football coach Deion Sanders, began her relationship with Jacquees in 2023. The couple made headlines when they announced Deiondra’s pregnancy in March 2024, became engaged in July, and proudly welcomed their son, Snow Sanders Broadnax, on August 9, 2024.
Following Deiondra’s tweets, the popular Instagram account @theshaderoom shared the unfolding drama, prompting Jacquees to assert his role as a dedicated father stating that he has not only provided for Snow but has faced challenges regarding visitation.
“Dawg lets stop playing with me everybody on here like I ain’t self made. Let’s start there, I provide everything for my son, and lastly, she won’t let me take my son anywhere without her. Stop playing me I’m sick of it,”he posted.
Physical Altercation Between Deiondra Sanders and Jacquees’ Sister
Reports from Baller Alert reveal a tumultuous February incident where a Twitter user alleged that Jacquees’ sister had attempted to physically assault Deiondra, leading her to flee the scene amidst accusations of being an unwanted presence within the family.
“Let’s talk about how his sister was bout to beat your a** today and you ran to the back and he cursed you out. You’re like a roach that won’t leave that family alone, sis,”the tweet stated.
In response to this online confrontation, Deiondra made a now-deleted tweet asserting that Jacquees’ family was reluctant to come near her, especially when her father’s security team was present. She declared:
“And let’s talk about once my daddy’s security came, n***as was scared to even be in the same room as me. I bet a h** knows not to play with me now.”
While Jacquees’ sister, Miracle, has not commented on the alleged altercation, she did share a cryptic message on Instagram, suggesting that anyone involved with her family would ultimately face challenges. She stated:
“No weapon formed against me or my family will prosper. Not in this life or the next. We are covered.”
Allegations of a Staged Relationship between Jacquees and DeJ Loaf
In a separate incident earlier in the year, reported by Yahoo Entertainment, Deiondra accused Jacquees and fellow artist DeJ Loaf of fabricating their relationship as a publicity stunt to promote their album, *F*ck A Friend Zone 2*. She asserted that her relationship with them was kept from the public because Jacquees’ fiancée would be made uncomfortable by her presence.
“People gotta fake a relationship to [sell] albums. Stop asking me why I’m not around. I am not allowed to be around them ’cause Dej would feel uncomfortable if his fiancée was there. As I said before y’all got it y’all won. Hope y’all lil album sells the most y’all done ever sold,”she expressed.
Notably, Jacquees’ album, *F*ck A Friend Zone 2*, was officially released on February 14, 2025.
