The Resile mission represents the climactic chapter in Destiny 2’s extensive Light vs. Darkness narrative, wrapping up a saga that has spanned a decade. Mission Resile Walkthrough for Destiny 2 Heresy
1. Hull Breach
Your adventure begins in the Hull Breach area of the Dreadnaught. Navigate towards the objective marker visible on your map. You can choose to engage the array of mobs lurking in the area or bypass them entirely to reach your destination quickly.
As you arrive at the marker, a Dread Subjugator boss known as Resonant Knife will emerge. Your immediate objective is to “Chip the Knife.”
2. Chipping the Knife
Focus on weakening the Subjugator by depleting its shield. To achieve this, defeat the Taken enemies that spawn around you. When enough Taken foes are vanquished, a “Star”marker will illuminate a section of the ground. Stand on this glow to acquire a Taken Willbreaker Sword.
Utilize this sword to inflict damage on the Subjugator, effectively reducing it by one-third of its health.
Your next objective will be to “Locate the Echo”as the mission marker updates.
3. Entering the Mausoleum
Head towards the Mausoleum as indicated by the objective marker. Here, you’ll find a blue arena beneath the main area, but expect to encounter several Taken Eyes which will inflict the Suffocating Terror status effect on you. Prioritize defeating the Wizard bosses linked to these Eyes as you progress towards your goal.
Upon reaching the arena, eliminate the Wizards to make the Eyes disappear. Your objective will then switch to “Break the Knife.”Eliminate all enemies in the area and look for the glowing section on the ground again to acquire another Taken Sword, which allows you to deal two-thirds of the Subjugator’s health in damage. Once that’s done, follow the marker to the Trenchway.
4. The Climactic Battle
Upon reaching the Trenchway, where the Echo of Navigation resides, observe Savathun as she concludes her dialogue. Shortly after, additional Savathun projections will appear alongside various Hive adversaries.
Once you’ve defeated all foes, you will find yourself transported into a Taken Blight. In this realm, tackle the Shade of Oryx and other Taken enemies, then retrieve the Taken Willbreaker Sword once more.
Use the Sword to deal damage to the Echo of Navigation outside the Blight. After inflicting some damage, you will face the “Voice of Xivu Arath”boss. Defeating this foe will again draw you into the Blight.
Inside, defeat the Shade of Oryx once more and collect the Willbreaker Sword again to inflict further damage on the Echo.
Eventually, the Resonant Knife Subjugator will spawn again. Upon its appearance, you will be teleported back into the Blight. Repeat the cycle until you claim the Sword and use it to vanquish the Subjugator inside the Blight.
Finally, use the Willbreaker outside the Blight to destroy the Echo definitively.
With the completion of the Resile mission, you witness the elegant conclusion of the Final Shape narrative.
