Originating from the Galar region in the main series games, this mono-Grass-type Pokémon evolves into Eldegoss. It’s a fitting addition to the spring-themed festivities within the mobile game. Currently, there is no shiny variant of Gossifleur available.

Wild Encounters

One of the most straightforward methods to capture Gossifleur is by encountering it in the wild. During the Spring into Spring event, players will enjoy increased encounter rates from 10 AM local time on April 9 through until 8 PM local time on April 14, 2025. After this event period, Gossifleur may still appear but is likely to become a rare sight.

Keep in mind that encountering Gossifleur is more likely during sunny or clear weather conditions, which also grants a max CP of 624. Without weather effects, the highest CP you may find in the wild is 576.

Hatching 5 km Eggs

Gossifleur can also be obtained from hatching 5 km Eggs acquired by spinning PokéStops during the Spring into Spring event. This method is particularly useful for gathering Gossifleur Candy. When hatched, Gossifleur will always start at level 20, exhibiting CP values ranging from 347 to 384 with IVs from 10/10/10 to 15/15/15.

Research Task Rewards

Players can earn Gossifleur through Field and Timed Research tasks within the event. These encounters will be at level 15 and have CP values between 260 and 288, with IVs also falling between 10/10/10 and 15/15/15.

Trading

If you’re unable to find Gossifleur on your own, consider trading with friends. Be aware that this counts as a Special Trade, which requires a significant amount of Stardust, with the cost influenced by your Friendship level.

Is Gossifleur Shiny in Pokémon GO?
