Step 1: Head to Obama in Wakasa
To initiate the Dark Waves, Black Ships quest, first complete The Performer mission to defeat the Fox. Once this is accomplished, return to the objective board and select the quest from Yasuke’s segment.
The main goal is to uncover Duarte de Melo’s location, and you will receive several important clues:
- A potential lead exists in Wakasa
- This lead can be found in Obama
- Investigate the Trading Port area
Your first task is to make your way to Obama in the Wakasa region. Utilize the Obama Guard Tower as the nearest teleporter for convenience.
Activate Focus Mode to pinpoint your objective, which will lead you to a specific house in the vicinity.
Step 2: Ignite the Three Signal Fires
Your next challenge is to light three signal fires located in the Trading Port area. Start by heading to the northwest section to ignite the first signal fire.
For the second fire, look for it on the shore of a small island just beneath the Trading Port.
The final signal fire can be found on the western coast, far from the main area of Obama.
Step 3: Reach the Vantage Point
After successfully lighting all three signal fires, Yasuke needs to make his way to the vantage point and wait for further instructions. You can hop onto any available boat along Lake Suigetsu’s coast to reach the nearby island.
