In The First Berserker: Khazan, players encounter Shactuka, one of the most formidable foes, boasting exceptional health and formidable attacks. This colossal lion-like creature dons a spiked collar and delivers slow yet devastating strikes. It’s critical to be prepared with Plague resistance potions and elixirs before engaging, as Shactuka’s attacks are capable of causing significant Plague buildup.
As the ninth primary boss in the game, Shactuka contrasts sharply with the agile Elamein. While he may initially appear cumbersome, his powerful attacks require keen timing to effectively counter. Success in this encounter demands patience as players must exploit opportunities stemming from his slow yet impactful swings to wear down his stamina and health. Upon defeating Shactuka, players are rewarded with two random pieces from the Beastslayer Set along with a chance to acquire a special crafting material known as the Beast’s Jawbone.

Where to Find Shactuka in The First Berserker: Khazan
Shactuka is Located at the Execution Ground Entrance

Players will confront Shactuka at the end of Linon Mine during the “Inconceivable Truth”mission, which is a level 69 quest that features Khazan attempting to rescue his loyal lieutenant, Yulian. To reach the Execution Ground Entrance, players will navigate through six distinct areas of the Linon Mine.
The environment hints at what awaits with various plague-infested hazards. Therefore, it’s essential to stockpile Plague Cleanse Potions and Plague Resistance Elixirs before delving into regions like the Underground Shaft or the Cave of Gloom. Enhancing your Vitality will significantly improve resistances across all encounters.
How to Defeat Shactuka
Capitalize on Shactuka’s Vulnerability & Patiently Await His Attacks

Shactuka’s colossal size belies the speed and power of his attacks. While his movement may seem deliberate, players should not underestimate the damage he can inflict. Engaging with heavy blocks will quickly deplete your stamina, and his signature move—pouncing and biting—inflicts Plague buildup as well. Use Plague elixirs to better withstand these attacks.
If Khazan depletes his stamina while afflicted by maximum Plague, he will be incapacitated, experiencing severe consequences, including blood vomiting.
Watch for Shactuka’s lunges, as he prepares for pounces that signal an opportunity for either a Brink Guard or Reflection. His occasional flailing leads to moments where he loses balance. Capitalize on these opportunities to unleash damaging combo attacks or powerful strikes when he stumbles.
During the fight, Shactuka may occasionally leap by you before following up with a formidable swing. This is another critical moment to attempt a stamina-draining counter or Reflection. Mastering the timing for these attacks, combined with patience, will lead to victory. When Shactuka lunges for a bite, it presents an ideal moment for a well-timed Reflection.

Defeating Shactuka can be challenging, requiring time to adapt to his slow but erratic movements. Understanding the fight dynamics allows for the effective use of Reflections, Brink Guards, and Counterattacks, significantly depleting his stamina and creating openings for punishing combos. With strategic exploitation of his weaknesses, you can triumph over this challenging adversary in The First Berserker: Khazan.
