HasanAbi Responds to Ethan Klein’s Possible Defamation Lawsuit: “I Didn’t Do Sh*t”

Hasan “HasanAbi”Piker, a well-known Twitch streamer and political commentator, has recently discussed the implications of potential defamation lawsuits directed at Steven “Destiny”Bonnell and Ethan Klein. Piker, who previously stated he had “real grounds”for litigation against these personalities, has indicated he would refrain from pursuing legal action, especially after determining that Klein’s “Content Nuke”video had not achieved the desired impact.

Following an uproar surrounding his comments, HasanAbi addressed the possibility of Ethan Klein countersuing him for harassment. He responded with the following:

“Even if Ethan tried to sue me, right? And it’s kind of funny because, if you try to sue me for something, he could present damages, most likely, to be like, see, my f**king, my subscriptions are in the red. People are leaving my channel in droves. Maybe, like, my merchandise company is not doing as well, right? But the problem is, in that circumstance, you would also have to prove that I have done something to trigger that. And I have not. I haven’t done anything.”

In a further elaboration, HasanAbi expressed his regret over having defended Ethan Klein for an extended period, mentioning:

“As a matter of fact, I defended him for far too long… And not only did I defend him, I also simultaneously told him that I don’t have any ill intent or ill will towards him. So, it really doesn’t make any sense. Like, I didn’t do sh**.”

The Context of the Dispute: A Feud Escalates

The ongoing feud between Ethan Klein and HasanAbi intensified when Klein released a controversial “Content Nuke”video that critiqued HasanAbi’s content on February 1, 2025. This video has amassed over 3.29 million views, yet HasanAbi argues that it failed to damage his reputation or financial standing on the platform.

Expanding on his perspective, HasanAbi remarked that any lawsuit from Klein would be akin to suing a “random onlooker.”He elaborated:

“It’s like suing a random onlooker that you’ve decided to stalk and harass, and because you’re stalking and harassing, it came across as really f**king annoying to a bunch of your own fans, they left your community and you suffered financial repercussions against that and now you’re desperately looking for someone else to blame.”

In an interesting twist, the legal landscape surrounding Klein has grown more complex. In March 2025, he and his wife, Hila Klein, were sued by Elizabeth Borda, a former employee who alleged violations of the California Family Rights Act, alongside claims of disability discrimination.
