Sega has made an exciting announcement regarding its support for the Nintendo Switch 2. This much-anticipated console was highlighted in the latest Nintendo Direct event, during which the platform’s pricing structure and release date were unveiled alongside a host of upcoming games.

In total, Nintendo revealed a roster of 20 launch titles for the Switch 2, with the promise of potentially more to come as we approach the official launch slated for June 5. Sega, a long-time contributor to Nintendo’s game lineup since the GameCube era, will be part of this significant launch.

Among the titles confirmed for the Nintendo Switch 2, Sega has unveiled five engaging games. The launch will feature both Yakuza 0: Director’s Cut and Puyo Puyo Tetris 2S, while subsequently, gamers can look forward to Raidou Remastered: The Mystery of the Soulless Army, Sonic X Shadow Generations, and Two Point Museum. However, thanks to backwards compatibility, players will still enjoy this title on the new console when it launches.

If Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds is indeed released for the Nintendo Switch 2, it will contribute to an impressive selection for racing game enthusiasts. With Mario Kart World already confirmed as a launch title, and the addition of Kirby Air Riders set to arrive by year-end, fans will have plenty of options for thrilling racing experiences. Furthermore, classic games like F-Zero GX will be available at launch due to the GameCube library being accessed through the Switch Online + Expansion Pack service.
