Ethan Klein Claims HasanAbi Employs Streamers as “Attack Dogs” Against Him and His Wife

Ethan Klein, a prominent YouTube creator and host of the H3 Podcast, recently accused Twitch streamer Hasan “HasanAbi”Piker of manipulating other content creators to launch attacks against him and his wife, Hila Klein. During a live session on April 4, 2025, Klein specifically mentioned creators Bad Empanada and Noah Samsen, who have both posted videos that criticize him, suggesting that Hasan indirectly encourages these actions by engaging with their content.

The criticisms aimed at Klein include several politically charged denouncements, with Bad Empanada frequently targeting his viewpoints. In contrast, Noah Samsen has made allegations that Klein supports genocide in the context of the ongoing Israel-Palestine conflict. In response to these provocations, Ethan Klein stated:

“Hasan, who has now dedicated dozens of hours probably to watching Bad Empanada videos in their entirety…and just nodding along by the way, when he goes ‘Hila Klein is a terror…’. He said something like ‘Hila Klein is a terrorist that kills babies’ without a hint of irony. And Hasan just goes ‘Hmm…mhm…mhm.’ What Hasan does you guys are gonna learn, throughout all this, is that these are his attack dogs.”

Accusations of Strategic Manipulation by Hasan

Klein accused Hasan of leveraging other content creators to launch personal attacks without facing direct consequences. He outlined his perspective during the livestream:

“He (Hasan) uses them to say the s**t that he wouldn’t say…to attack the people in ways that are obviously below the belt. That is unacceptable, and instead of having to say it himself, he rewards them by watching their entire videos on his stream in its entirety, and it’s basically as good as him saying it in that case. But he doesn’t have any of the liability.”

The animosity between Ethan Klein and Hasan began in October 2023, when the two former collaborators on the “Leftovers” podcast fell into a series of public disputes over various political issues. This conflict has persisted, leading to ongoing jabs at each other across social media platforms.

The tension escalated further when Klein released a comprehensive video in February 2025, filled with accusations against Hasan, lasting nearly two hours. In response, Hasan expressed interest in engaging in a political debate with Klein, a proposition that Klein declined. The dynamics of their rivalry continue to evolve as each seeks to assert their narrative online.

In a different facet of the streaming community, Adin Ross has expressed a desire to reconcile with Hasan, particularly following his return to Twitch after two years away due to a ban. Ross’s willingness to engage with other creators highlights a potential shift towards mending relationships in the often fractious environment of online content creation.
