Accumulating the full Bard armor set relies heavily on luck. However, by knowing the right locations to explore, players can craft this set at The Crevice once all crafting prerequisites are fulfilled. Below, we outline the steps needed to acquire each piece of the Bard set.
Acquiring the Bard Set Pieces in The First Berserker: Khazan
Unlike other armor sets, the Bard set does not originate from a designated boss encounter. Instead, its pieces are randomly dropped by various enemies throughout the game. Players can anticipate these drops to commence after completing the First Act of the Revenge mission.
Farming Location and Chest – Skoffa Cave
In Skoffa Cave, giant spiders demonstrate a good drop rate for Bard set pieces. To find one, teleport to the Bottom of the Cave Blade Nexus, then turn around and head straight until reaching the area tainted by poison swamp. There, a giant spider can be spotted wading through the muck. Furthermore, there is a chest located at the far end of this area containing the gloves, pants, and boots of the Bard’s Set.
Acquiring the Bard Chest Piece – Night of Tragedy Mission
Within the Night of Tragedy side quest, you can find a house containing a chest that holds the Bard set’s chest piece. Navigate to the Bhangau Lot Blade Nexus and proceed down the path past the frost archer. After dropping down from the ledge at the path’s end, you’ll encounter the house. Clear the rubble obstructing the entrance to access the chest.
Once players progress to the Witch’s Castle mission, they will begin to see higher-rarity item drops, particularly after seeking and confronting Trokka.
Locating the Bard’s Scroll in The First Berserker: Khazan
If farming for Bard set armor pieces proves challenging, players can opt to craft the pieces after unlocking the Blacksmith and locating the Bard’s Scroll in The First Berserker: Khazan.
The Bard’s Scroll can be found in the underground section of the Palemion Citadel during the Traitor Revealed mission. As you progress, reach the castle and, upon acquiring the Citadel Key, unlock the gate leading to the dungeons. Look for a wall with loose bricks, as shown in the provided image — smashing it will reveal the Bard’s Scroll within a secret chamber.
This breakable wall is located in the room following the mess hall area, directly opposite the staircase leading down into the dungeon.
Effects of the Bard Set
The Bard’s set in The First Berserker: Khazan is tailored for effective farming of both equipment and Lacrima. Wearing any combination of the pieces provides various enhancements, notably:
