A recent criminal complaint, reported by Ukraine’s Babel, has been lodged with the Romanian Directorate for Investigating Organized Crime and Terrorism (DIICOT). This complaint stems from accusations made by a 26-year-old Romanian woman who claims she was sexually assaulted by Van Damme a decade ago.
On the evening of March 31, 2025, DIICOT confirmed that the complaint was officially filed. According to the complaint, Van Damme is accused of knowingly soliciting the sexual services of five Romanian women who were allegedly victims of exploitation.
Attorney Adrian Cuculis, representing one of the alleged victims, asserted that the women involved were deliberately provided to Van Damme, with full knowledge of their compromised situation. One victim provided detailed testimony regarding the events and location of the alleged incident, which Cuculis elaborated on in a statement communicated to Hot News:
“The scenes took place in Cannes and the act Van Damme is accused of refers to using the services of a person known to be exploited.”
