Fans Reminisce About BTS RM’s Lost Passport Story from Bon Voyage After TXT Yeonjun’s Recent Airport Incident

Yeonjun’s Passport Mix-up Sparks Nostalgia Among Fans

The recent passport debacle involving Yeonjun from TXT has elicited fond memories from fans of BTS, particularly recalling RM’s amusing passport mishap during the 2016 Bon Voyage series. On March 31, 2025, Yeonjun arrived in Amsterdam from Paris only to discover that he had forgotten his passport.

In a Weverse live session held on April 2, Yeonjun detailed his escapade, mentioning that he contacted the Paris Airport before returning to France to retrieve his document. Fortunately, he managed to retrieve his passport the same night, but faced a hurdle when he found no available flights back to Amsterdam. Luckily, on April 1, he returned to Amsterdam just in time for the group’s concert.

Throwback to RM’s Bon Voyage Adventure

Yeonjun’s situation drew comparisons to RM’s similar experience during BTS’s Bon Voyage filming in Stockholm. On that trip, RM misplaced his passport while traveling across Norway, Sweden, and Finland. He had to contact the South Korean embassy to resolve the issue, but despite his efforts, he had to return to Korea earlier than his bandmates.

Fans quickly took to social media to comment on the parallels between the two situations, sharing their amusement and lighthearted jokes about the incidents.

“Flashback of RM on Bon Voyage,”remarked one fan on X.

“Everyone mentioning Joon’s BV episode. Poor man won’t ever live it down. Even the members don’t let him breathe,”another fan added.

“This gives me major flashbacks of RM in Bon Voyage and both virgos, lool. Thank goodness Yeonjun was able to get his passport back,”noted another user.

Connecting the Dots: A BIGHIT MUSIC Family Experience

Fans humorously linked Yeonjun’s passport troubles to RM’s experience, noting that both artists hail from BIGHIT MUSIC. Such observations generated a flurry of entertaining responses, with some fans jokingly wondering if this was a senior-junior dynamic.

“Is this a senior & junior thing?! Is Yeonjun Namjoon coded? But seriously, I’m glad he was able to get his passport even though he had to jump through hoops,”one netizen tweeted.

“My God, Yeonjun is RM of TXT…RM lost his passport twice… I hope Yeonjun is fine though,”another commented.

“Yeonjun I have a good friend called Namjoon who went through the same thing. You might want to talk to him,”a fan joked.

These interactions have sparked a wave of laughter across social media, demonstrating the strong connection within the K-pop community.

“This is so funny now knowing what Yeonjun went through with forgetting his passport and flying back and forth between countries,”a netizen wrote.

“TXT in that modern-day Titanic meme situation will open Weverse while drowning like YOU GUYS ARE NOT GOING TO BELIEVE WHAT JUST HAPPENED,”added another fan.

“I would have definitely thought it was a prank because how did he get on the plane in the first place but then got on ANOTHER plane,”said another user.

Yeonjun Expresses Regret Over His Mishap

TOMORROW X TOGETHER is actively on their ACT: PROMISE EP. 2 World Tour and had performed in Paris on March 30, with their Amsterdam concert following on April 1, 2025. During their travels between the two cities, Yeonjun’s passport incident occurred.

In his Weverse live stream, he expressed his regret for the inconvenience caused to both the staff and his fellow members, sharing:

“I lost my passport right when it was April Fool’s Day in Korea, so I was like, ‘I really wish this was a prank.’ I was sad going back to Paris alone; I thought about the members too… I was honestly really worried, but thankfully the concert ended well today, so I’m grateful. I really don’t lose important things easily, but I don’t know how this happened.”

Yeonjun further confessed:

“It was so dynamic… I feel like this will be a really memorable thing for me. Please don’t forget your passport. I kept making sure everywhere after getting back to Amsterdam… to see if I still had my passport.”

Looking ahead, TXT is set to make a significant mark as the first K-pop act to headline the AXE Ceremonia music festival in Mexico, scheduled for April 5 and 6, 2025, at the Bicentennial Park in Mexico City.
