Participate in 3-Star Raids
The Aqua Breed Paldean Tauros will feature as a 3-star raid boss in Gyms, exclusively in the Western Hemisphere. This includes regions across North and South America, parts of Spain and Portugal, as well as certain areas in Western Africa.
As a formidable raid boss, Aqua Breed Paldean Tauros boasts over 19,000 CP. Trainers will need to strategize carefully, as this Pokémon possesses strong Charged Attacks. Notably, it has vulnerabilities to attacks from Grass, Electric, Flying, Psychic, and Fairy types.
Trainers can engage in these raids either in-person or via Remote Raid passes.
During raids, Aqua Breed Paldean Tauros can have the following CP upon capture:
- No Weather Boost: 1,546 – 1,621 CP at level 20 (IVs 10/10/10 to 15/15/15)
- Weather Boosted (Rainy or Cloudy): 1,932 – 2,026 CP at level 25 (IVs 10/10/10 to 15/15/15)
Trade with Friends
Another way to acquire Aqua Breed Paldean Tauros is through trading with friends in-game. If you already have Kanto Tauros in your Pokédex, trading for the Aqua Breed will not count as a Special Trade, making it a hassle-free option.
This method is especially beneficial for Trainers residing outside the Western Hemisphere who may want to conserve their Remote Raid Passes.

As of April 2025, there is currently no Shiny variant of Aqua Breed Paldean Tauros available in Pokémon GO. The release date for the shiny version remains unconfirmed and is expected to be announced in the future.
