Dream Reveals Dream SMP Reunion Plans, Leaving MrBeast Confused

Clay “Dream,”the acclaimed creator of Minecraft, Twitch streamer, and popular YouTuber, recently shared a memorable moment on his official X account (@dreamwastaken). He posted a nostalgic image showcasing the diverse group of creators who were part of the Dream SMP, a private survival multiplayer Minecraft server launched by Dream along with George “GeorgeNotFound”in 2020. Notably, this server ceased operations on April 10, 2023.

In his post, Dream included familiar faces such as GeorgeNotFound, Alexis “Quackity,”Lannan “CodeLazar,”Vikram “Vikkstar123,”Jonathan “Jschlatt,”Tobias “Tubbo,”and Karl Jacobs. He enthusiastically captioned the photo:

“Excited to announce the Dream SMP reunion!”

While the announcement sparked excitement and buzz among his followers, the mood quickly shifted as Dream revealed that the post was a clever April Fools’ joke. Responding to a fan’s comment inquiring about the absence of the late YouTuber Alex “Technoblade,”who was also part of the server, Dream faced a thoughtful dilemma:

“Are u sure that’s All?: (#technoblade r.i.p fly high king wish u were still here and in this Dream SMP Reunion pic.”

Dream thoughtfully explained his reasoning for not including Technoblade’s name in the meme, highlighting his respect:

“Wasn’t sure whether it would be disrespectful to include him in an April Fools’ post like that, so I didn’t to be safe, he’s always there in spirit through and through.”

MrBeast Responds: “Can’t tell if this is an April Fools joke or not”

Notably, YouTube sensation Jimmy “MrBeast”also reacted to Dream’s whimsical claim of a DSMP reunion, expressing his uncertainty about the authenticity of the announcement. He remarked:

“Can’t tell if this is an April Fools joke or not.”

Dream quickly responded to MrBeast’s comment, asserting the reality of the situation, albeit in jest:

“Its real.”

It’s worth noting that MrBeast was never an official member of the Dream SMP, although he did make notable guest appearances. Alongside him, other well-known creators such as Imane “Pokimane,”JJ “KSI,”and Tyler “Ninja”made cameo appearances on the server.

For instance, in January 2021, MrBeast uploaded a memorable video titled “I Hid $100,000 On The Dream SMP!”where he cleverly concealed $100,000 in gift cards within the game. This event culminated with UK YouTuber and Twitch streamer Tubbo winning the prize during a lively livestream.
