2025 DC Movie Footage Reveals James Gunn’s Superman Healing in the Fortress of Solitude

First Glimpse of the Upcoming Superman Film Unveiled at CinemaCon

A fresh preview of the much-anticipated Superman movie has made its debut, generating excitement among fans and industry insiders alike.

During the recent CinemaCon event, where members of the ScreenRant team were present, new footage from James Gunn’s iteration of Superman was showcased. This exciting segment highlights a poignant moment where the iconic hero experiences a significant healing process.

The revealed footage opens with stunning visuals of a snowy landscape, transitioning to Superman crashing onto the ground, visibly injured. He is depicted as wheezing, bleeding, and unable to move. In a desperate bid for help, he lets out a loud whistle. We then see Krypto, Superman’s loyal canine companion, rushing toward him. As Krypto arrives, he playfully bumps into Superman, who pleads for him to stop due to his pain: “Krypto, take me home. Home.”

Krypto responds by barking and begins to drag Superman using his cape. In the background, the ice cracks away to reveal the Fortress of Solitude. With another bark, Krypto prompts the door—adorned with Superman’s emblem—to open. A swarm of bots rushes out, exclaiming, “Superman!” They lift him into a sunlit operating room, where he expresses gratitude, stating, “Thank you.” A bot replies, “We mere automatons are here to serve,” while another bot excitedly notes, “Oh, he looked at me!”

The footage includes glimpses from the film’s trailer, leading into an intimate scene between Lois Lane and Clark Kent in a cozy living room. Lois addresses him, “Superman,” and Clark replies, “Ms. Lane,” signaling that he has revealed his true identity to her. The trailer showcases vibrant action from other superheroes featured in the film, including a flying Hawkgirl and Guy Gardner demonstrating his powers with his ring. It concludes with Krypto whining in concern as Superman takes to the skies, soaring away from the Fortress.
