Final Episode Predictions: Why Saxon Is Likely to Be the Character Who Dies in The White Lotus Season 3

WARNING: SPOILERS ahead for The White Lotus Season 3, Episode 7.

As we approach the thrilling conclusion of The White Lotus Season 3, I am increasingly convinced that Saxon Ratliff, played by Patrick Schwarzenegger, is destined for demise in the impending season finale. Despite his father Timothy, portrayed by Jason Isaacs, being portrayed as the most vulnerable character due to his detrimental involvement in a money-laundering scheme, it seems that Saxon may ultimately bear the consequences of his father’s actions. The Ratliff family, which includes drug-embattled Victoria, the rebellious Piper, and the perplexed Lochlan, has been a rich tapestry of dysfunction and entertainment this season.

The dramatic finale, titled “Amor Fati,”which translates to “love of fate”in Latin, will unfold over a gripping 90 minutes. Viewers can expect a culmination of interconnected narratives that arrive at shocking and unpredicted resolutions, keeping in line with the show’s illustrious history. Notably, following Rick’s confrontation with Jim Hollinger in Episode 7, a shadow of danger looms over him should he return to The White Lotus Thai Hotel. Meanwhile, Belinda has sensed an ominous presence since her earlier attempts to investigate Greg’s actions. Despite these tensions, I remain steadfast in my belief that Saxon will be among those facing a tragic end.

Saxon Is Most Likely To Die In The White Lotus Season 3 Finale

He Best Matches The Floating Body Shown At The Start Of The Season

Notably, Saxon is a prime candidate for the floating body that Zion encounters at the start of the season, thanks to his physical characteristics which closely resemble the figure in question. Although other characters, including Timothy and Rick, could also potentially match the mysterious corpse, the eerie likelihood leans towards Saxon. As the narrative progresses and Timothy is compelled to confess his financial misdeeds, Saxon’s mental state might deteriorate, reminiscent of Lochlan’s trials earlier this season.

Additionally, there’s a foreshadowing element involving the pong-pong tree’s poisonous seed, mentioned in Episode 1 and the teaser trailer. Given Timothy’s current suicidal tendencies and lack of a firearm, he might contemplate creating a toxic smoothie from the seed. The dark twist could arise if Saxon inadvertently consumes the fruit of this grim concoction or even if Timothy considers feeding it to Saxon and Victoria after his disturbing visions of violence against his family.

The Gunshots Could Be Part Of A Completely Separate Storyline

The gunfire that punctuates the opening of Season 3 appears to stem from various potential sources. One theory posits that Valentin and his gang might retaliate against Gaitok or Laurie, especially if either betrays them regarding their robbery seen in Episode 2. Alternatively, there might be an attempt to rob Jaclyn, leading to another instance of gunfire.

We should also consider the possibility of Frank, played by Sam Rockwell, being embroiled in events surrounding gun violence. A potential revenge plot by Jim, seeking retribution from Rick and Frank for their previous actions, is becoming increasingly plausible. A masked man appears in the teaser trailer, hinting at an assassin scenario that could target Rick or perhaps even Frank himself as his unpredictability continues to escalate.

The White Lotus Season 3 Finale Could Have Multiple Character Deaths

Gaitok, Rick & Other Ratliff Family Members Could Die As Well

None

In the chaos leading up to the finale, Gaitok’s character appears to be in jeopardy as well; he may lose his life while attempting to confront the assailants. Speculation surrounding Mook being potentially involved with the robbers amplifies the tension. Moreover, fan theories suggest Lochlan might face fatal consequences, possibly intersecting with the toxic smoothie narrative introduced earlier.

Although there is a chance that Timothy survives the season, I have serious doubts regarding Victoria’s fate. Her repeated expressions of discontent with life without luxury suggest she may seek an end through the poison. Rick, too, finds himself in a precarious situation, as Jim is unlikely to let their earlier confrontation pass unchallenged.

Interestingly, Saxon was the first character to recognize the poisonous fruit, a detail that suggests a potential fatal connection in his storyline. Meanwhile, the fate of Greg and Belinda seems less dire as I suspect Greg may increase his offer of hush money, leading Belinda to take it based on encouragement from Zion. Although deaths seem unlikely in their arcs, my ultimate hope is to see Greg held accountable for his actions. The seeds of Saxon’s potential tragic fate were sown early this season, and now it seems his accidental demise may become a grim reality.
