Karate Kid: Legends Cinemacon Trailer Features Daniel LaRusso and Mr. Han Training the Next Generation of Martial Artists

Exciting New Trailer Revealed for Karate Kid: Legends at Cinema Con

At the recent Cinema Con 2025, attendees were treated to an exclusive preview of the much-anticipated Karate Kid: Legends. During the event, ScreenRant had a front-row seat as the studio presented two captivating scenes along with an action-packed trailer.

The first scene depicts Li, who discovers an open window upon arriving home. As he investigates, he is unexpectedly attacked with a pot, leading to an intense kitchen duel played out under dim lighting. In a playful exchange, Jackie Chan, portraying Mr. Han, quips, “Now you see me, huh?” just as Li’s mother returns home. The second scene shifts to Mr. Han visiting the iconic Miyagi-Do dojo in California. After attempting to make contact, he enters to find a photo of Miyagi adorning the wall. “Hello, old friend. It’s been a long time,” he reminisces. Soon after, Daniel LaRusso appears, curious about Mr. Han’s relationship with his late mentor. Revealing a photo of himself with Miyagi from 1985, Mr. Han discloses a significant plan: he’s come to invite Daniel to New York to help train Li in the art of “Miyagi karate.”

The newly released trailer captures the essence of Li’s journey alongside Mr. Han. It opens inside a dojo, showcasing Li’s transition as he and his mother relocate to New York. While eager to join a dojo, his mother imposes restrictions. A confrontation with a local bully amplifies Li’s determination, leading Mr. Han to take the initiative to find Daniel LaRusso for assistance. The trio’s dynamic culminates in a training montage, illustrating Li’s growth in both kung fu and karate—symbolizing the intertwining obligations and relationships rooted in martial arts. The final showdown promises to be a spectacle, taking place on a mat atop a skyscraper, blending thrilling visuals with heartfelt storytelling.

Stay tuned for more updates on this highly anticipated release.
