90 Day Fiancé: Julia Trubkina’s Current Residence and Her Parents’ Relocation from Russia to the U.S.

Following her personal challenges with Brandon Gibbs on 90 Day: The Last Resort, Julia Trubkina made the decision to continue her life in the United States. The couple’s paths crossed through mutual friends, leading Brandon to believe that Julia would become his spouse. After a period of online dating, their engagement blossomed in Iceland. In early 2020, Julia entered the U.S. on a K-1 visa to marry Brandon, facing numerous difficulties as she adapted to her new surroundings.

Julia’s adjustment period was marked by her dissatisfaction with her in-laws, Ron and Betty Gibbs, who frequently interfered in her relationship with Brandon. This dynamic stunned viewers, especially when Betty suggested that Julia consider birth control pills for contraception. In spite of the family tensions, the couple exchanged vows in an intimate ceremony during the pandemic. Nevertheless, their early married life was fraught with challenges, leading Julia to encourage Brandon to move out of his family home. Once they secured a new residence, Julia expressed her desire for motherhood, but Brandon felt unprepared for such responsibilities.

Recognizing the strain in their relationship, Julia and Brandon joined the second season of 90 Day: The Last Resort for counseling. During therapy, Brandon announced his newfound readiness for fatherhood, while Julia revealed her hesitance, stemming from previous fertility issues diagnosed in Russia. She worried about seeking additional medical opinions in the U.S., fearing the possibility of facing infertility. Furthermore, Julia expressed feelings of frustration with Brandon, especially regarding his lack of support in facilitating her parents’ relocation from Russia to the U.S.

As their journey unfolded on the show, it became clear that the issues they faced were deeper than initially understood.

Julia contemplated returning to her home country due to the absence of a support system in the U.S., apart from Brandon. Without close friends and with a strained relationship with her in-laws, she expressed a desire to be closer to her loved ones in Russia, should her marriage with Brandon come to an end. However, by the conclusion of the second season of 90 Day: The Last Resort, Julia chose to reaffirm her commitment to Brandon, aspiring to enhance their marital life. As a city dweller from Russia, Julia found it challenging to adapt to the slower pace of life in West Virginia.

During a previous trip to Las Vegas with Brandon, she expressed a desire to relocate there for greater opportunities, but Brandon deemed this impractical. Eventually, the pair settled in Virginia Beach, purchasing their first home. In August 2024, Julia shared photos from a trip to New York but clarified that they did not relocate to the city.

Julia wrote, “No, we are not moving to New York; we have never talked about it.”

Life in Virginia Beach

Despite frequent travels, Julia and Brandon have happily settled in Virginia Beach, a picturesque coastal city in southeastern Virginia. In efforts to personalize their new home, Julia took the initiative to renovate it. Her time on the show and updates on social media suggest that she has found contentment and tranquility in this area, moving away from aspirations of city life. Additionally, Julia has embarked on her entrepreneurial journey by starting a business catering to pet owners, delivering subscription boxes directly to clients.

Recently, Julia showcased moments from her business, Kingdom For Dogs, on her social media, where she proudly shared her experiences making personal deliveries and interacting with customers’ pets. One photo featured her meeting two dogs named Harley and Quinn, alongside the caption, “I love making deliveries to local Hampton Roads by myself.”She included hashtags like “#hamptonroads,””#norfolk,””#virginiabeach,”and “#chesapeake,”highlighting the areas she serves. Although a fan suggested a delivery to North Carolina, Julia clarified that her preferred delivery service would be much faster.
