To begin your quest to uncover the valuable Jarlings in The First Berserker: Khazan, your first step involves assisting an NPC named Danjin during the Jar Enthusiasts quest.
Initiating the Jar Enthusiasts Mission in The First Berserker: Khazan
Engage with Duimuk
After successfully defeating Volbaino and completing Mission 4, titled First Act of Revenge, you’ll gain access to the Bonus Mission, Jar Enthusiasts. This mission is set in the familiar Phraugh Village.
To commence the quest, return to The Crevice and communicate with Duimuk, who is located near your storage chest.
- Click on Bonus Mission.
- Select Jar Enthusiasts.
- A notification will confirm that the Cradle of Jars region is available via the Spectral Portal at The Crevice.
- Travel to the portal located near Blade Phantom to initiate the mission in Phraugh Village.
- The recommended character level for this mission is 31, and you will need to collect two of First Berserker’s Soulstones.
Upon reaching the Jar Observatory, speak with Danjin to receive the Coward’s Lantern item. He requests that you explore the vicinity and gather six Jarlings for him.
Equipping the Coward’s Lantern will cause your controller to vibrate as you approach a Jarling, making it a valuable tool for locating these collectibles.
Locating Six Jars for Danjin in The First Berserker: Khazan
Jar #1
As you ascend the first ladder along the main path, look for a Jarling situated in front of the bridge within a small jar.

After descending another ladder, you’ll encounter a corpse from which you can absorb Lacrima. However, pay attention to the area beneath that ladder, where you’ll discover a tiny pot with a Jarling nestled inside.

Continuing past an open field with the first Soulstone, ascend the next ladder. Follow the path and enter the compartment on the right containing dead bodies, where you will find another tiny pot near the main route.

Progress deeper into the stage until you spot a small building with an open door, situated near some corpses. Previously, this was the location where you needed to throw a Javelin onto a structure to eliminate enemies. Break the pot in the top left corner of this area to find the Jarling.

After securing the previous Jarling, exit the house and head directly towards a gate. Check the small pot to the right of this gate to locate another Jarling.

After collecting the previous Jarling, pass through the archway and follow the path to a locked gate. To the left of this gate, you will find two large pots, one concealing another Jarling. Additionally, if you explore the opposite side of the gate, you can discover a hidden Soulstone.
Upon completing the mission, Danjin will reappear at The Crevice, providing you with opportunities to revisit earlier missions to uncover hidden Jarlings. In total, there are 44 Jarlings to locate, with a special trophy/achievement awarded for finding them all.
