Just like in the real world, digital lives are transient, and understanding this cycle can enhance your gameplay experience. The character creator screen showcases nine different stages, although not all of them are selectable.

Every Zoi experiences a defined lifespan before it can “pass away”due to old age. Below, we present a comprehensive breakdown of each life stage, including in-game days and the equivalent real-world time required for progression. The game typically operates on a cycle where one game day equals 96 real-world minutes; however, players have the flexibility to modify this setting.

It’s important to note that you cannot select all life stages during the character creation process. For instance, if you desire a baby Zoi, discussions with existing Zois are necessary before you can welcome a newborn into your game. As time progresses, your toddler will naturally evolve into an adolescent, followed by their transformation into a teenager.
When managing multiple Zois, the game will notify you when any one Zoi reaches a new life stage. Additionally, regardless of whether you’re actively engaging with a specific Zoi, you’ll receive alerts upon their passing. While you cannot prevent the aging or demise of your Zois, sidestepping these events can be strategically approached by adjusting the duration of in-game days.
