Cinna Expresses Hope for Adin Ross to End “White Supremacy Baiting” Following Twitch Unban News

Twitch streamer Brittany “Cinna”recently expressed her concerns regarding Adin Ross’s return to the platform, particularly criticizing his tendency to “bait the white supremacy”elements in his content. This reaction follows the reinstatement of Ross’s channel on March 29, 2025, after a lengthy suspension lasting over two years.

The background of Ross’s ban dates back to February 26, 2023, when he faced a permanent suspension for allegedly maintaining an “unmoderated chat.”During a stream, he had his Kick chat open, which some viewers believe led to the offensive remarks that triggered the ban.

With the lifting of his ban, many within the streaming community have voiced their opinions. Cinna shared her thoughts following some discontent expressed by her audience regarding Ross’s reinstatement. She acknowledged that while Ross has engaged in “shi*** things”in the past, she remains hopeful that he has learned from those experiences and can improve.

“People are saying sadly? People can change. You know what I mean? Hopefully, he doesn’t keep baiting the white supremacy; everything like that. I think people can change. I think he, you know, did shi**y stuff before. Hopefully, he changes. If he doesn’t, I am sure Twitch will deal with it. You know what I mean? But hopefully, he does.”

It is significant to note that prior to his unban, Adin Ross issued a public apology after facing backlash for allegedly performing the Nazi salute.

Cinna on Twitch’s Permanent Ban Policies

Addressing the issue further, Cinna emphasized her belief that Twitch’s approach to permanent bans is counterproductive, stating that such actions hinder personal growth and redemption opportunities. She recognized the platform’s responsibility to enforce its rules but argued against a one-size-fits-all approach to banning streamers.

“I don’t think half the stuff he does is allowed on Twitch anyway. So, it’s kind of is what it is. It’s one of those things. But I do think Twitch permanently banning people is always bad. Even if you don’t like a person, it’s always bad. As long as you can hopefully grow from it and change, that’s always better.”

While advocating for leniency, Cinna also acknowledged exceptions to her stance. She pointed to controversial IRL streamer Johnny Somali, whom she expressed should be kept away from the platform, citing his problematic behavior.

“Now, I do say that loosely. Then there are streamers like f**king Johnny Somali that exist. Let’s keep him far the f**k away from Twitch. Please for the love of god. Holy f**k dude, let’s keep him far away.”

Similarly, fellow Twitch streamer Asmongold raised concerns about Ross’s unban, stating that due to past controversies, he could not support the decision to lift the ban.
