Objective: Retrieve The Ox’s Invasion Plans
The quest begins with your infiltration into Hiraiyama Fort, which is located northeast of Tanjosan Myoyoji Temple. You can track your mission via the Objectives Board under Shinbakufu > The Ox. The ideal entry point is from the northeastern corner, offering access points for both Yasuke and Naoe. Yasuke can charge in forcefully, while Naoe can opt for a stealthier approach, utilizing various climbing opportunities to bypass head-on combat.
Once inside, your mission revolves around locating The Ox’s invasion plans, which are heavily guarded. Be particularly cautious of alarm bells that can summon Guardians, exponentially escalating the difficulty of combat encounters. Prioritize neutralizing these threats before engaging in close-quarters combat. If adopting Naoe’s route, leveraging high ground provides a tactical advantage, allowing you to eliminate foes quietly and effectively.
Upon locating your target, interact with the map displayed on the table to initiate a cutscene with an ensuing dialogue choice:
- You shouldn’t have attacked me
- I won’t hurt you

Meeting Nakamura Tadashige
After successfully obtaining the plans, your next goal is to rendezvous with Nakamura Tadashige at Kyokaiji Temple, located to the north of Hiraiyama Fort. If you haven’t previously unlocked a fast-travel point in the vicinity, this is an opportune moment to do so.
As you arrive at the temple, you will encounter Nakamura Tadashige speaking with another character. Approach him to engage in conversation, ultimately culminating the mission.
