Comprehensive Guide to Minecraft Movie DLC: Essential Information You Should Know

The latest downloadable content (DLC) for Minecraft, inspired by *A Minecraft Movie*, introduces an exhilarating experience for players engaged with the Bedrock Edition. This expansion immerses gamers in an imaginative realm filled with a variety of mini-games, characters to unlock, and a vibrant environment drawn from the film’s universe. Upon entering the game with the DLC, players will find themselves in an exciting area referred to as “Game Over World.”

This intriguing location is associated with one of the movie’s protagonists, Garrett. Immediately upon entering, players will spot five arcade machines; however, only three of these machines—First Night Survival, Elytra Chase, and Mansion Stealth—are playable. These exciting mini-games play a pivotal role in character unlocking and advancing through the Minecraft DLC adventure.

Among the available mini-games, *First Night Survival* stands out as a fan favorite. Players start in a tower equipped with a crafting table and only three lives. The crafting table offers a limited selection of resources, and due to being in adventure mode, players cannot freely break blocks to gather materials.

Throughout the game, waves of enemies will continue to attack, and your primary objective is to withstand these onslaughts for as long as possible. Keep a lookout for beams of light that soar into the sky; these will guide you to chests containing essential crafting materials.

Crafting melee weapons, arrows, and shields is recommended for effective survival. Surviving through a total of eight nights will reward players by unlocking Natalie and Dawn as new playable characters.

Elytra Chase

*Elytra Chase* is a thrilling race that tests players’ flying capabilities. In this mini-game, participants must navigate a course filled with obstacles while racing against the clock. Along the way, players will encounter piglins, which are carried by ghasts, along with firework rockets and a special golden item.

  • Firework rockets: Grant you a much-needed speed boost, allowing for a quicker lap time.
  • Golden item: Helps lower your final completion time, making it easier to set new records.

Success in completing the track in under four minutes unlocks Garrett as a playable character, while a run of under two minutes earns you the piglin character.

Mansion Stealth

The *Mansion Stealth* mini-game invites players to stealthily navigate through a Woodland Mansion to retrieve an Earth Crystal without being detected. There are various entry points to the mansion, with some proving to be more challenging than others. The heavily guarded front entrance should be avoided.

A more effective strategy is to venture to the right side of the mansion, where vines provide a climbing route leading to the upper levels, bypassing much of the initial difficulty. Successfully obtaining the crystal and making a timely escape will unlock Henry and a villager as playable characters.

Upon shattering records and unlocking all the available characters, players will be rewarded with a celebratory cutscene featuring characters from *A Minecraft Movie*. During this scene, Garrett presents a trophy to acknowledge your accomplishments, and a special cameo from Dennis the Wolf adds an extra layer of excitement to the festivities.
