Generally, it takes between 8 to 10 in-game days for a character to complete their degree, contingent upon their enrollment date. Upon graduation, the Zoi’s profile will be updated to show their diploma. However, it remains uncertain whether graduating will have a tangible impact on careers within the game, as no career path currently necessitates obtaining a specific degree—contrasting sharply with real-life scenarios where education often plays a pivotal role in employment opportunities.
Players can choose to drop out of university; this is initiated by clicking the “Drop Out”button in the School tab. A confirmation warning will appear for reconsideration, and if confirmed, the Zoi’s academic performance will reset to zero. Should they desire to return to school in the future, they will be required to start over completely. Therefore, dropping out is generally not recommended unless absolutely necessary, such as when prioritizing employment or other significant undertakings.
