In the thrilling journey of Assassin’s Creed Shadows, players are tasked with forging alliances to confront formidable adversaries. After teaming up with Kyonyo, Naoe embarks on a quest to seek out her old warrior companion, Mitsumune. Located at the scenic Nunobiki Falls, Mitsumune’s loyalty is not easily won; he demands the retrieval of a statue he values highly, one that has fallen into the hands of thieves. Thus, the Stolen Faith quest emerges as a pivotal chapter in Naoe’s endeavor to fortify her ranks before engaging Wada Koretake.
Finding Mitsumune in the Stolen Faith Quest

To locate Mitsumune, players should venture north of Amagasaki town, making their way up the path to Nunobiki Falls. Utilizing the Pathfinder feature can help navigate the winding trails of Nakayama Peak without losing direction. Eventually, players will discover a camp where Mitsumune awaits, situated close to the stunning waterfall.
Upon approach, Mitsumune will express his need for Naoe to recover the statue of Shinran, which has been appropriated by bandits. Ensuring the return of this statue is crucial; only then will Mitsumune agree to aid in the battle against Wada Koretake.
Toneyama Post Town & The Statue of Shinran

Players must journey east through Senri Hills to reach Toneyama Post Town in the Stolen Faith quest. Marked on the map, the town serves as a gateway fraught with dangers. Entering this hostile environment requires caution; while swinging swords may seem appealing, a stealthy approach can yield better results.
By utilizing Naoe’s Eagle Vision ability, players can efficiently scan for objectives while traversing the rooftops, moving deeper into the town. The statue awaits in a small room located at the far end of Toneyama Post Town, but players must first contend with several guards, including a formidable brute. Once the foes are dispatched, the Statue of Shinran can be claimed.
Returning the Statue of Shinran to Mitsumune

Upon successfully navigating these challenges, Naoe can return to Mitsumune and deliver the Shinran statue. While pleased with her efforts, Mitsumune expresses concern about whether his remaining warriors are prepared to risk their lives once more in defiance of Wada Koretake.
