Muzik Tiger Anime Unveils Release Date for April 2025 and Additional Details

On March 26, 2025, the official website for the Muzik Tiger anime series launched, announcing its premiere date set for April 2, 2025, in Japan. The site also provided details about the timing of the release, its availability for domestic viewing, the total number of episodes, and the duration of each episode.

Formally titled MUZIK TIGER In the Forest, the series showcased some exciting updates, including the main voice cast and the animation team behind the project. Noteworthy voice actors, Rie Takahashi and Aoi Koga, renowned for their roles as Megumin from Konosuba and Kaguya from Kaguya-sama: Love Is War, have been cast in leading roles.

Series Overview: Episodic Structure and Premiere Details

This highly anticipated anime series will debut with a total of 30 episodes, each lasting just one minute. Scheduled to air on April 2 at 7:59 PM JST, viewers can catch the series on the Tokyo MX channel and on YouTube. Notably, the Korean official site indicates that the premiere will occur on April 3, but this appears to be a simple clerical error.

Takahashi will lend her voice to Toffee, a trendy tiger with a penchant for electronics, while Koga will voice Willy, a little mouse aspiring to grow larger than Toffee. The cast also features Ai Kakuma as Teefee, a tiger with a love for strawberries and peaches; Kotaro Nishiyama as Taffee, another tiger who enjoys drawing and photography; and Hikaru Tohno as Porumee, a moon rabbit marked by an X-shaped scar resulting from an accident while making rice cakes.

As already highlighted, Takahashi and Koga’s most notable roles come from their performances in Konosuba and Kaguya-sama, respectively. The other cast members are recognized for their contributions to titles such as Mushoku Tensei where Kakuma voiced Eris Boreas Greyrat and Kiznaiver, featuring Nishiyama as Yoshiharu Hisomu. As of now, this roster comprises the main cast of the Muzik Tiger anime series.

The production is credited to STUDIO MUZIK, with TOHO Animation STUDIO handling the animation. Kazunori Minagawa and Miki Minagawa are directing the series, contributing to both direction and animation. The script is being penned by Toshizo Nemoto, with music composed by Hiroaki Tsutsumi and sound direction by Kazuki Kuwahara. The project is produced through a collaboration with Shinei Animation and Daewon Media.

Daewon Media’s ambition with this anime is to broaden its audience beyond its core fanbase of South Korean millennials and Generation Z. According to the anime’s English-language website, the premise unfolds as follows:

“In the Muzik Forest, by a beautiful lake, live three tigers—Toffee, Teeffee, and Taffee—along with a mouse named Willy and a moon rabbit called Porumee. They lead a carefree life, not working, but every day is filled with fun and fascinating moments.”
