Twitch Streamer Dalig Responds to G2 Esports Ban: “This is Straight-Up Bullying”

Dalig, a Twitch streamer and former UK admin for G2 Esports, has recently found herself banned from any involvement with the organization. The controversy erupted when she briefly addressed the situation on X, only to delete her statements shortly thereafter and opt for an explanation on her Instagram stories instead. In her public remarks, Dalig accepted full responsibility for her actions while providing critical insights into G2 Esports’ management of the incident.

The crux of Dalig’s concerns revolved around how G2 handled her ban. She alleged that some individuals affiliated with the organization made derogatory comments about her in private forums, all stemming from her decision to make jokes:

“Creating a private chat and calling me a ‘racist tw*t’, ‘simpqueen’ by people who actually do stuff for G2 is F**KING crazy to me. They talked about me like I’m a piece of sh*t. I made jokes BUT I NEVER TARGETED ANYONE. This is straight-up bullying. It’s actually disgusting.”

According to Dalig, she learned of her suspension on March 24, 2025. G2 Esports expressed their desire to dissociate from both her and her community moving forward, citing her “racist remarks”as the reason behind the ban. While Dalig acknowledged her previous inappropriate comments, she emphasized that she has already apologized for those mistakes:

“I have never denied making inappropriate jokes. That was on me, and I’ve apologised for it. The moment I said them, I instantly regretted it. I made a mistake, and I’ve accepted the consequences.”

During a meeting with G2’s community manager, Dalig mentioned that some of her colleagues also received permanent bans from the organization. The discussion further stipulated that she would lose access to G2’s official Discord channels, office, and studio, along with a prohibition against wearing any G2 merchandise.

“Apparently bullying is acceptable?”: Insights from Dalig on her ban from G2 Esports

Dalig expressed her long-standing dedication to G2, having been a supporter since 2017, and revealed that she had project plans for G2UK that were set to be unveiled; however, in light of recent events, she opted against sharing them:

“I had wanted to speak up about our little G2UK project in here, but you know what? After seeing what other hub leaders say about me behind my back, I’m not going to do that. [Making] racist remarks is bad, but apparently bullying is acceptable?”

In closing, Dalig reiterated her commitment to taking responsibility for her actions while expressing gratitude to her supporters:

“I’m taking full responsibility for my actions, and I no longer wish to be associated with the organization… Lastly, I want to thank everyone who supported me throughout the years.”

In related news, G2 Esports recently achieved victory in the VCT Americas Kickoff, triumphing over the fan-favorite Sentinels in February 2025.
