Hasan “HasanAbi” Piker, a prominent figure among political streamers on Twitch, is currently engulfed in controversy as accusations arise regarding the authenticity of his merchandise. Critics are alleging that some of his item designs may have been generated using artificial intelligence (AI). A particular post within the subreddit drew attention to the graphic on Hasan’s “Personal Reality”T-shirt, which features a devilish creature overseeing a skeleton seated at a computer. Observers highlighted several peculiarities within the design, notably pointing out that the skeleton possesses six fingers:
“Does Hasan pay artists to produce this original t-shirt design? This looks like AI. The skeleton has six fingers and no sternum.”
Further analysis by Reddit users uncovered additional inconsistencies, particularly with the demon character’s horns. One user commented:
“It definitely looks like AI. The demon’s horns make no sense and is there a tongue that turns into a mermaid tail coming out the side of his face? Also, the cord coming out of the side of the computer…”
Another comment in the same thread critiqued the odd illustration of the computer monitor and asserted that Hasan may be opting for AI-generated designs as a cost-saving measure:
