Defeating Peacock in Assassin’s Creed Shadows: A Guide to Kabukimono Strategies

Taking on the Kabukimono in Assassin’s Creed Shadows presents a formidable challenge, particularly when it comes to the elusive Peacock. As one of the final three rogue ronin, alongside Laughing Man and Corrupt Blade, Peacock is not the easiest target. Players must decide between employing a stealthy strategy or engaging in a direct confrontation, both of which require careful planning.

This guide will provide you with effective strategies for locating and defeating Peacock (Kabukimono) in Assassin’s Creed Shadows.

Before initiating the hunt for Peacock, players must first eliminate the five preceding Kabukimono: Big Sueki, Ember, Grave Dancer, Ghost General, and Chief Cuckoo. Once these targets are dispatched, you have two strategic options to proceed: either lure the final trio to a single location or pursue them separately throughout Harima.

If you opt for the group approach, you’ll find Peacock and his companions at a lumberyard situated south of Takagi Otsuka Fort. However, for those who prefer a solo confrontation, expect Peacock to be found near the Tamba border on northern Mount Kasagata, close to Lover’s Lake.

Strategies for Defeating Peacock

In a one-on-one scenario, Peacock will be near a bridge flanked by a single ronin. To efficiently handle this encounter, utilize the surrounding foliage for cover. Sneak up on Peacock and eliminate him swiftly before his companion becomes aware of your presence. This method is quick but may lack the excitement of engaging multiple foes.

For players who desire a more intense challenge, gather all three Kabukimono at the lumberyard. Positioned together on the southern edge, they provide an opportunity for a strategic takedown. Use the rooftops and nearby bushes for stealth as you maneuver around them. Target Peacock first, as he is the closest to the bush, making him an easier kill.

Once Peacock falls, the remaining warriors will respond with attacks, presenting the perfect opportunity to dispatch Laughing Man and Corrupt Blade. Their attack patterns are slow and predictable, making them manageable foes as long as you keep dodging effectively.

Rewards for Your Efforts
