Parent Company of Edible Arrangements to Introduce Hemp Drinks and Edibles: Key Changes to Know

Edible Brands, the parent company of Edible Arrangements, is taking a significant step into the cannabis industry with the launch of a new marketplace: Edibles.com. This expansion aims to introduce a variety of hemp-infused drinks and edibles to consumers, as reported by CNBC.

The recently established Edibles.com will leverage Edible Arrangements’ established franchise network to facilitate delivery, marking a strategic move into the burgeoning cannabis market. Initially, the platform will serve only Texas, with plans to extend its reach to other states such as Georgia in the near future. Additionally, the company is contemplating the opening of physical locations to enhance customer access.

Edible Brands Ventures into the THC Market

This week marks a pivotal moment for Edible Brands as it launches into the mainstream cannabis sector. Edibles.com aims to provide consumers with low-dose THC products, including gummies and beverages, catered for a national audience.

On March 20, 2025, Edible Brands teased the marketplace’s launch on Instagram, stating:

“Your new go-to destination for the finest infused brands! From blissful treats to refreshing social tonics, we’ve curated the best of the best to enhance your wellness journey. Whether you’re looking to unwind, energize, or simply elevate your vibe, we’ve got you covered.”

As per CNBC’s coverage, the website is set to officially start operations this Friday, focusing on hemp products from well-known brands like Cann drinks and Wana gummies, exclusively for Texas residents initially.

After establishing a foothold in Texas, Edibles.com plans to expand its services nationwide, targeting markets in Florida, Georgia, and throughout the Southeastern United States. CEO Somia Farid Silber highlighted the consumer demand for safe and reputable sources for hemp products:

“There’s a lot of demand for hemp products out there right now, but what people are looking for is that safe and trusted place to buy it.”

Edibles.com is also looking to establish physical storefronts, having already secured a lease in Inman Park, Atlanta, with aspirations for additional locations across various states.

Jake Bullock, co-founder and CEO of Cann, spoke on the opportunity this initiative presents:

“This is a defining moment for the hemp industry. A trusted, high-quality marketplace like Edibles.com has the power to reshape the future of THC products and drive the long-term industry growth we’ve all been working toward.”

The delivery service for Edibles.com will utilize the existing franchise system of Edible Arrangements. Thomas Winstanley, Executive Vice President of Edibles.com, noted the importance of establishing a solid consumer connection:

“We positioned it as a way to be able to create that connection for people who may be looking for permission to try these things, who have been hearing about them. But it’s different when you walk in and see these products at a gas station, instead of seeing a collection of the nation’s leading products.”

The Legal Landscape of Hemp Products in the U.S.

The legalization of hemp products in America gained momentum with the passage of the 2018 Farm Bill, which permitted the sale of products containing tetrahydrocannabinol (THC) derived from hemp, defined as cannabis containing 0.3% THC or less. However, states like Connecticut have imposed specific regulations regarding the permissible THC content in hemp products.

As the cannabis marketplace continues to expand, Edibles.com represents a significant step forward in providing consumers with a reliable and curated platform for hemp products, catering to both seasoned users and newcomers alike.
