On March 13, Netflix premiered Love is Blind: Sweden season 2, unveiling its first four episodes. These episodes introduced the contestants as they connected with one another in the pods, developed romantic feelings, and ultimately got engaged. Following their engagements, the couples enjoyed their honeymoons in picturesque Greece. The subsequent episodes, 5 through 7, released on March 20, showcased the couples as they moved in together, navigating the challenges of cohabitation and assessing their compatibility outside the controlled environment of the pods.
Among these couples were Nathalie and Wictor, who took a significant step by moving in together starting in episode 5. Their journey continued in episode 7, where Nathalie introduced Wictor to her family. During this meeting, her sister, Paulina, expressed apprehensions about Nathalie’s decision to relocate.
Paulina raised concerns that Nathalie was giving up her aspiration of living in Stockholm for the sake of her relationship with Wictor, stating:
“As her big sister, I’m a little worried about her making these sacrifices.”
She urged Nathalie to reflect on whether it was wise to alter her life goals for Wictor.
Nathalie’s Family Concerns Unveiled
During Wictor’s visit to Nathalie’s family on Love is Blind: Sweden, the initial welcome was warm, and the group soon gathered for lunch. Conversations revolved around their future together post-marriage, including their potential living arrangements.
Nathalie discussed the possibility of moving to Gothenburg, where Wictor resided, and mentioned the challenges of finding a job there. Still, she expressed some inclination toward living in Gothenburg temporarily.
At this moment, Paulina took Wictor aside for a more candid conversation about the gravity of marriage—pointing out that merely weeks before Nathalie’s participation in the show, the concept of marriage seemed peripheral:
“When Nathalie entered into this, she was determined that she would never leave Stockholm. And now, after a few weeks, she’s changed her mind about something she was so sure of.”
Wictor stated that his desire was to find someone committed to long-term plans. Paulina emphasized the importance of both partners feeling content with the choices made, underlining the need for mutual happiness in their decisions. Wictor responded:
“I was open to living almost anywhere. I told her maybe we could try Gothenburg for a little while. And if it doesn’t work out, then we’ll move somewhere that’s better for her.”
Later, in a confessional, Paulina reflected on her responsibilities as an older sister, advocating for Nathalie’s need to marry someone genuinely suitable for her. She advised Nathalie to consider carefully if she was truly ready for marriage.
Paulina confronted Nathalie about her sudden shift in plans regarding Stockholm, to which Nathalie explained that she wanted to align with Wictor’s aspirations. Paulina reminded her that these were Wictor’s plans, not hers, urging her to remain true to her own ambitions.
Fans can look forward to the next episodes of Love is Blind: Sweden season 2, scheduled for release on March 27, exclusively on Netflix.
