In a significant development within the streaming community, controversial Twitch personality and former OTK (One True King) member, John “Tectone”, has experienced his first ban on Twitch as of March 20, 2025. At the time of his suspension, Tectone boasted nearly 950,000 followers. The ban was notably tracked and reported by StreamerBans, an automated service monitoring Twitch activity.
Throughout the past year, Tectone has found himself at the center of various controversies and disputes. While the specific cause of his recent suspension remains ambiguous, it is confirmed to be temporary. In situations like these, bans typically range from 24 hours to two weeks. As per Twitch, his channel currently displays the following message:
“This channel is temporarily unavailable due to a violation of Twitch’s Community Guidelines or Terms of Service.”
A number of users on X speculated that Tectone’s ban may have stemmed from his decision to stream the widely popular anime series, “Solo Leveling”. This could be deemed a violation of Twitch’s Terms of Service, leading to the suspension.

Furthermore, a verified user on X, Bestfriend (@BestfriendKick), shared a clip from Tectone’s last streaming session where he was seen reacting to an episode of “Solo Leveling”.
Understanding Tectone’s Controversial Status
Tectone’s reputation within the Twitch community has been marked by controversy. Despite amassing millions of supporters across various platforms, he has faced significant criticism. Among the most serious controversies were allegations of sexual misconduct that emerged in late 2024.
In November of that year, a former housemate and romantic partner, Pinkchyu, accused Tectone of abusive behavior, claiming he coerced her into sexual acts while disregarding her comfort. Specific allegations included demands for oral sex and emotionally manipulative behavior.
“How are you supposed to feel if a guy is abusive and makes you cry then shoves your head on his crotch and demands you suck him off and his excuse is ’emotion just turns me on when you cry.'”
“Or when you’re asking that you don’t feel comfortable doing something sexual, and he records you and demands you stop making faces and pretend you like it. Or you say you don’t want to do it anymore, and he shoves your head down till you throw up.”
Following the surfacing of these allegations, Tectone stated that he had not renewed his contract with OTK and had subsequently exited the organization. He firmly denied Pinkchyu’s accusations and hinted at potential legal action against her.
February 2025 brought further developments in this controversy when Tectone asserted that Pinkchyu had submitted a police report against him. He was quick to reject these claims once again, asserting his innocence and characterizing the allegations as false.
