Chaewon’s Journey and the Formation of LE SSERAFIM
Kim Chaewon’s journey in the entertainment industry began in 2018 when she participated in the reality competition Produce 48 under Woollim Entertainment, securing a commendable 10th place that led to her debut in the project girl group, IZ*ONE. The group made its official entrance into the industry on October 29, 2018, with the mini-album ColorIZ.
Following IZ*ONE’s disbandment in April 2021, Chaewon transitioned to Source Music, a subsidiary of HYBE Corporation, where she made her debut as the leader of HYBE’s first girl group, LE SSERAFIM.
