My Dearest Nemesis Finale Date Revealed: tvN Unveils Schedule Adjustments Ahead of 2026 FIFA World Cup Asian Qualifiers

In a surprising scheduling twist, the romantic comedy drama My Dearest Nemesis>, featuring the talents of Moon Ga-young and Choi Hyun-wook, will conclude earlier than initially planned. The change comes amid growing excitement for the upcoming 2026 FIFA World Cup Asian Qualifiers broadcast. Maeil Kyungjae reported that the series, which consists of 12 episodes, has already aired 10 installments, with its original final episode set for March 25, 2025.

However, the network has recently announced that the concluding episode will now air a day earlier, on March 24, 2025. Confirming this update, tvN shared via social media that episodes 11 and 12 will be presented in a back-to-back format, starting at 8:50 PM KST. This scheduling shift accommodates a highly anticipated football match on March 25, 2025, slated for 8:00 PM KST in Suwon.

It’s noteworthy that tvN generally does not broadcast sports programming, indicating a strategic move to avoid potential declines in viewership ratings that could occur if the drama and football match aired concurrently.

Viewership Ratings Surge for My Dearest Nemesis

Data from Nielsen Korea reveals that episode 9, which aired on March 17, 2025, garnered a nationwide average viewership rating of 3.7%, marking a slight dip of 0.4% from the preceding episode. In a turn of events, the subsequent episode (episode 10) broadcasted on March 18, 2025, achieved a substantial viewership increase, reaching an impressive 4.2% rating, reflecting a 0.5% boost.

At the heart of My Dearest Nemesis is the story of Baek Su-jeong, portrayed by Moon Ga-young, who leads the strategic planning department at Yongseong Department Store. Baek Su-jeong is characterized as a dedicated, results-driven professional who is never shy about voicing her thoughts and feelings.

The narrative unfolds as Baek Su-jeong, during her teenage years, befriends Ban Ju-yeon, known online as ‘Black Dragon,’ while gaming under the alias ‘Strawberry.’ A series of events leads to a painful confrontation that leaves lasting emotional scars for Baek Su-jeong, who wishes to forget him. Their connection shifts dramatically when Ban Ju-yeon, who once confessed his feelings only to be harshly rejected, re-enters her life as her boss and potential heir to the Yongseong Group after a 16-year separation.

What to Anticipate in Episode 11 of My Dearest Nemesis

The stakes rise in episode 10 as Ban Ju-yeon faces dismissal from his role as director of Yongseong Department Store, ordered by his grandmother and the chairwoman, Jung Hyo-sun. Her dissatisfaction with his involvement in a dating scandal involving Baek Su-jeong leads her to question his suitability for both his current position and the future leadership of the Yongseong Group.

Additionally, Baek Su-jeong is also demoted, with Jung Hyo-sun hoping her resignation will follow. Nevertheless, Baek Su-jeong’s resilience shines through as she remains steadfast in her work. In the upcoming episode 11, previews suggest that Jung Hyo-sun may provide Ban Ju-yeon and Baek Su-jeong a chance to redeem themselves through a crucial renewal project.

The audience eagerly awaits the outcome of this pivotal test, as the final episodes of My Dearest Nemesis are set to air on March 24, 2025.
