ABC’s Upcoming 911 Series Casts First Lead Actor
ABC has officially announced the first lead actor for its highly anticipated series, 911: Nashville.
Veteran actor Chris O’Donnell has been selected to take on the pivotal role, marking a significant milestone
for the show, which received a straight-to-series order back in February.
O’Donnell is set to portray Capt. Don Sharpe, a character defined as a “rugged fire captain and
rodeo rider.” Don is tasked with managing Nashville’s busiest firehouse alongside his cherished son. While he
is portrayed as a devoted family man and husband, the character also harbors untold secrets, promising a narrative
rich with emotional depth and intrigue.
This role marks O’Donnell’s return to television following the conclusion of NCIS: Los Angeles,
where he portrayed NCIS agent G. Callen for an impressive 14 seasons, culminating in 2023. Fans of the actor can
look forward to seeing him in a new light as he takes on a challenging and dynamic character in 911: Nashville.
Stay tuned for more updates and details as the series prepares for its debut in the 2025-26 season.
