Unlocking Baruuk in Warframe: A Complete Guide

Baruuk has emerged as a prominent contender following the recent pseudo-exalted rework in Warframe. If you haven’t yet added this character to your roster, now is an excellent time to do so. Representing the Monk class fantasy, Baruuk is not only capable of absorbing significant damage but also excels in delivering devastating strikes. It’s important to note that he performs exceptionally well in solo missions, making him somewhat challenging to utilize effectively in team settings.

How to Acquire Baruuk in Warframe

To obtain Baruuk’s Warframe components, you primarily need to engage with the Vox Solaris syndicate located in Fortuna on Venus. The initial step is to switch to Operator/Drifter mode, navigate to the Backroom (accessible via the hallway behind Eudico), and interact with Little Duck. From there, choose the Browse Wares option.

Before you can proceed, ensure that you have completed the Vox Solaris quest and that you’ve achieved at least Rank 3 (Hand) with the Syndicate to purchase the various blueprints.

Blueprint Costs and Requirements

Purchasing all of Baruuk’s blueprints requires a total of 20,000 Standing, broken down as follows:

  • Baruuk Main Blueprint – 5,000 Standing
  • Baruuk Neuroptics Blueprint – 5,000 Standing
  • Baruuk Chassis Blueprint – 5,000 Standing
  • Baruuk Systems Blueprint – 5,000 Standing

Additionally, you will need a substantial amount of Vega, Calda, and Sola Toroids not only for reaching Rank 3 but also as crafting materials for Baruuk’s blueprints. These Toroids can be effortlessly farmed from the Profit Taker boss, or you can gather them from various Corpus depots across the Orb Vallis region.

Obtaining Baruuk through The Circuit

Another avenue to acquire Baruuk is through the regular Circuit after completing the Duviri Paradox quest. He can be selected as a potential pick during Week 11, but as mentioned, you will still need the necessary Toroids to craft him.

Purchasing Baruuk from the Market

Alternatively, Baruuk is available for purchase from the Market for 325 Platinum, which includes a Warframe Slot and a pre-installed Orokin Reactor, effectively lowering the cost to 285 Plats. However, in my professional opinion, this method may not be the most beneficial, as obtaining him through gameplay is relatively straightforward.

It may be more advantageous to obtain parts of Baruuk Prime through player-to-player trading, which typically costs less and can save you a fair amount of Platinum. The main advantage of the standard Baruuk lies in the ability to acquire Lull as a Helminth ability, which does not provide significant value beyond the regular gameplay experience.
