How to Acquire Dynamax Chansey in Pokémon GO

There are two primary methods to obtain Dynamax Chansey:

• Participating in 3-star Max Battles.
• Engaging in trades with friends.

3-Star Max Battles

Starting March 17, 2025, you can find Dynamax Chansey as a 3-star boss at Power Spots. During this period, battles can be conducted every day from 6 AM to 9 PM local time. On the day of its introduction, Chansey will take center stage from 6 PM to 7 PM, occupying all local Power Spots.

Once you defeat Dynamax Chansey, it can be captured with the following CP ranges:

• No Weather Boost: 654 – 717 CP (IVs ranging from 10/10/10 to 15/15/15 at level 20)
• Weather Boosted (Partly Cloudy): 817 – 896 CP (IVs ranging from 10/10/10 to 15/15/15 at level 25)

Trading Dynamax Chansey

If you’re unable to capture Dynamax Chansey during battle, you can trade for one with a friend in-game. The Pokémon’s IVs will change post-trade, and it won’t count as a Special Trade unless you have never previously captured Chansey. It’s noteworthy that any Max Moves unlocked, like Max Guard and Max Spirit, will remain intact while trading; however, leveled-up Max Moves will reset to Level 1.

Shiny Possibility of Dynamax Chansey

Good news for collectors! Dynamax Chansey can indeed appear as shiny, boasting a 1-in-512 chance during encounters.
